I got through the first applicant stage of being a Suicide Girl. My next step is to shoot a set of 40-60 pics. I have a photographer friend and some cool ideas that I can do on a budget. (I went to art school and I love doing photoshoots on a whim.) I am not really trying to make money or anything. It's just something I think sounds cool. Have you applied or been a Suicide Girl? I know you have to sign a contract and blog, etc. I guess I just don't want to get my hopes up, if there is little chance that I will become a REAL Suicide GIrl. I know that they have tons of hopefuls. I am going still shoot a set either way. It's fun and something to have for when I'm old, and can look back on. Fortunately I don't plan on running or marrying anyone who will run for a public office one day. haha.

All those girls you see posting amazing travel pictures, and being travel bloggers are one of the following.They have actually worked very hard (Contacting travel companies, brands, hotels etc), to create a name for themselves in the travel blogging industry, most often alongside their jobs, and quit their jobs to pursue this full time. Check out ‘Bruised passports’ and you’ll know what I am talking about.People like me who travel because their husbands travel a lot, and do tie ups with travel brands when traveling. So my husband travels a lot, and since I work from home, I have the advantage of traveling with him. Earlier I did brand (jewellery, clothes, and make up mainly) influencer work, but these days, I know my travel schedule in advance, and reach out to brands in the city where I am going to. Eg: I am visiting Milan, I reach out to local hotels, travel agencies, or airlines. I write them an email saying that I am traveling to XYZ place, and that I’d love to do a tie up with their brand. Thanks to the same, I get offers to do paid posts, free stays, a free plane ride or a free local tour in exchange for the pictures I click or the articles I write.People with really rich families.
