What Xbox 360 game should I buy?
Bioshock 1 and 2 -- The story of what happens when you put Ayn Rand on Atlantis, this is the rare video game with philosophical merit (although only barely). Much like Half Life, this is a fun intellectual shooter with tons of scary atmosphere. The audiobooks are an incredibly effect way of adding to the ambience without slowing down the game play.Mass Effect -- perhaps the fullest universe ever created in video games, this is "choose your own adventure" at it's finest, with a believable but fantastical world. Benefits from emphasizing realistic political dynamics over moral righteousness, more Battlestar Galactica than Star Wars or Star Trek...but with the fun alien species of the latter. The gameplay isn't as good as the second game, but I think the story benefits from playing them in order.Grand Theft Auto IV -- haven't played much of this one myself, but it's the best reviewed game since Half-Life. Seems like more or less GTA in full swing, although I preferred the California flavor of San Andreas.Gears of War 1 and 2 -- fun co-op, games like Mass Effect 2 completely stole the cover dynamics, the enemy wave dynamics, and general feelHalf Life: The Orange Box -- still the best single-player series of all timeSkate -- Brings back memories of when Tony Hawk was the freshest shit in town, great controls, fun vibe
Should i buy the xbox 360 or xbox one?
My Dad doesn't want to buy me one for christmas, since that is unfair to my sister, which is sorta true. But anyways, i want to buy one of those i just don't know which one. The xbox one looks cool, but more then i want to pay, but with the xbox 360 im afraid i wont be able to play any cool new games released, or have enough people to play with online. Do Xbox One Games Work on Xbox 360?
No, Microsoft have made it so the xbox one isn't backward compatible and the xbox 360 isn't forwards compatible either. It's a real shame because there were plenty of great games I would have liked to play before moving on to next gen consoles. You can't play one game on 360 because they have a different structure and are programmed different. However, some games are supported for both consoles, I.e the Lego movie game.
If I wanted to transfer my digital games from XBOX 360 to XBOX One, would I need both consoles to do so, or could I transfer my XBOX 360 to a portable HD and then to an XBOX One?

You just log into an Xbox one, check you ready to install list and, if the publisher has let MS enable that game, it'll be waiting for you.on a technical standpoint the 360 game you play on X1 isn't the same file as you was playing on 360. (It's fully compatible with your cloud saves)

The discs have the benefit of a quicker install, and the ability to sell the disc once finished with the game. However, you must have the disc present to play the game.Think of it like this. You don’t own the game, you own an access code to said game. If you buy the game digitally, then the access code is linked to your account, if you buy it on a physical copy, the access code is linked to the disc, so if the disc isn’t in the console won’t read your account having access to the game.

talk to your parents cause I doubt anything random strangers online will help sway your parents opinions. And if that don't work, then just get used to the fact as a little kid you have to live w/ whatever your parents feel is best for you even if you think it's unfair....that's how life is at your age, we've all been there and dealt w/ it and in the end there is no way around it other than to just grow-up ....and that goes for all these little kid "getting around what my parents want" questions
