If you buy stuff from another country and sell it, is it considered import?

If you are bringing goods into your country from elsewhere to sell in your country, you are importing the goods and may have to pay duty and sales taxes before they are released to you by the shipper. You may also be required to charge sales taxes to your buyers. If you are buying goods in another country and selling them there, that’s just retailing and no duty would apply, although you may be required to charge sales taxes. If you are buying goods in one country and selling them in a third country, so that the goods go from, say India to Singapore, although you are actually in Germany, the buyer is importing the goods and he (not you) would be required to pay duty and sales taxes to his government.

Is it legal to buy goods cheaply in one country and sell them more expensive in another?

Buying something cheap in another country and selling it here for more is exactly what Walmart does.

Whether or not it would be profitable for you to do this on your trip to Paraguay depends on how much the US would charge you in customs fees for bringing it into the US.

You need to find out what Paraguay produces and/or exports. You aren't going to make money buying something in Paraguay that was made somewhere else, like a watch, because the only difference in price will not be about the value, which is the same, it will be the taxes/import fees etc.

Will America be a third world country in a couple of years thanks to illegal immigrants?

There's a real possibility that illegal immigrants, combined with liberals, will lead the US into being a third world country within the next 50 years. That may also happen to Europe, where muslims are over-running every country except Albania. Unless the real Americans step up to the plate, our civilization could soon be a 250 year footnote in history.

Should the Philippines stop importing goods from China?

Should we? is a very difficult question to answer because there are a lot of aspects that has to be considered before deciding if should we. . . We have to consider that almost everything in the world is"made in China." If we can make our own products "the government has to support" or find other countries who can provide what we need, then yes.

We have to decide what will happen to the OFWs in China as well as the other produce we export to China. We have to have alternatives. And this is good because it will curtail our dependence to one or two countries for part of our economy.

Other countries did this and it worked for them.

during the time the kingdom of Saudi Arabia was still emerging as an oil exporter, a western country demanded monopoly on its oil reserve, if not, they threatened no support, no goods.

The king despite being uneducated stood firm with his decision and implored his subjects to tighten their belts. They lived on what little they can produce in their own lands as they cant obviously eat and drink their oil deposits . . . it was hard during those times, but in the end, the West needed the reserves and so a bilateral trade agreement was forged to the satisfaction of both countries. **

Same was true with Japan after the war. They closeted themselves from the rest of the world, developed their own skills and goods and now . . . is history.

There are two things I see here that caused the success of these 2 countries from becoming independent from others.

FIRST, strong leadership.
SECOND, support of its citizenry

Do we have what it takes to be independent from other countries?

What is the best import/export business to get into?

As someone above said, this is a tricky questions. Everything is relative here. There are many factors to take a look at here. For example, the better chance of sucess in imports and exports bussiness is relative to the countrie in wich you´ll be creating the chain of marketing, the kind of production and goods able to export and the demand of them, how the international commerce rules apply for your country, and some others.Every country has his own production and goods for exporting. This is relative too of course. You can also create and export channer by bringing goods and services from another countries to yours and then sell them to another country. Which it will make you kinda a dealer. In my country (Cuba) works like that. Some of our imports come from 3rd countries, not exaclty from the country of my provider. Example, in my country, Biotechnology and Medicine,  is the one of the most demand areas so it´s one of the highest channels of imports and exports of the  country. For producing we need to imports goods and equipment for the industry and then we export the results to new other countries. I have around 213 provides from all over the world that provide me supplies and goods for this kind of matter, so i guess it´s a world wide bussiness. That can a chance of sucess for you. You can also try technology sector. Which is kinda overhelmed and you´ll have to be a great competitor there. It´s not an easy path to start.

What are disadvantages of export and import?

Disadvantages (Challenges) of ImportUnemployment will increase. If everything will be imported from other countries, the people who live in India won’t have any job opportunities.Local manufacturers will lose their business orders.Need to pay GST (Goods and Service Tax) on imported goods. We can’t return the damage and poor quality goods easily.Reducing the income of our country. Because we are investing all money in other countries. If you import the goods through a middleman (an agent), you need to pay for him.Obtaining license and documents for import is difficult.Importing from abroad will destroy the Domestic Industry.Importing reduces the economic growth of the country. You may import the product without quality. The exporter can’t return the imported items for any cost.If you can’t sell all imported items, it may lead to heavy loss.Disadvantages (Challenges) of ExportNeed basic investment to start export business.Finding the importer from abroad is difficult and also it will take more time.Obtaining license and documents for export is difficult.Sometimes you need to wait for payments. You must have English knowledge.Transportation cost may be high on some occasions. If you export the product without getting the settlement, your importer may cheat you.You may lose your profit because of seasonal fluctuations. When you export through the agent you have to give some money to him.You can gain only a small profit through low value-added exports

What would happen if Indians stop buying goods that are not manufactured in India?

If Indians stops buying good that are not manufactured within then there would be decrease in demand. As per economy which I understand if demand decreases then supply should also decrease otherwise it will affect the price level of the commodities which would fall as a result. Since the MNC’s wider base over the would they can sustain this shock. Before 1991 balance of payment(BOP) crisis we didn't stop buying the commodities but we were not buying at all. Now all of the sudden if the demand of foreign goods hit low then it would be the case of swadeshi movement in my opinion.Let me elaborate on BOP crisis 1991 which was due to governance failure and political turmoil from late 70’s to 90’s. Our economy did quite well till date with mostly open economy.Fiscal imperialism is what is going on in India. Way back in history we know the concept of imperialism the foreign companies by using legal loophole of our country are draining the wealth our government. There is a famous saying that ultimate power lies in peopleThere in no shortcut the development but instead of hardwork smartwork do aid the progress. The decision lies with the 125 crore people of India (these line is taken from history of modern India book)in which may be some are concious and others are not or predict not to be.To boost our economy youth of the country need to workhard smartly.

I have already verified the puppy is real by making them send videos and pictures of the puppy with an item next to it of my choice including papers with my name on it.

Any tips on how to send a safe payment. I AM NOT WILLING TO SEND MONEYGRAM, WESTERN UNION, OR BANK TRANSFER! I also will not do Paypal. What else can I do? I am paying with Credit Card.
