However, it is possible to change the text tone for each individual person (tedious and annoying, but doable). To change the text tone for each individual contact 1) unlock the phone, and click the contacts button on the bottom of the touch screen. 2) Select the contact you want to set a text tone for and click edit. 3) Now click the add more fields button and scroll through until you find the one titled message tone click the check box and add it. 4) Once you add this when you go back you can finally set a text tone for that one contact. And as always, make sure you save. To do this for each contact repeat steps 2-4 until you can't stand it anymore. Good luck.
