I Want To Connect My Pc Only Has Hdmi Output To An Older Television Set That Has Rca Inputs 1

How do I connect a TV with no audio outputs at all to a home theater?

If you're using a set-top box such as a cable or satellite receiver then that may have an output like an SPDIF or you can use an HDMI output from the box to connect with a home theater. If the TV has a feature called “HDMI ARC” then the TV can send audio back down the HDMI to an attached home theater system. If your TV has Bluetooth you might be able to get stereo out of the TV to a home audio system. If you don't have any of these then you are out of luck, you've already said there is no other way to get audio out. Although I would check the TV doesn't have optical SPDIF, sometimes it can be a little hard to sport that connection if you don't know about it.

I have Bose companion 2 system which I want to connect to my TV which is 32" Samsung LCD HDTV?

use an optical connection for the best digital sound besides HDMI

Is there a way to connect an "older" turntable with RCA cables to a new amp where only HDMI connections are possible?

You need to do this in two stages.First, you need a Phono Pre-amp. Classic turntables deliver the weak signal from the needle, and older stereo systems had a dedicated phono input. Since you don’t have that, you need a dedicated preamp. Here’s one.Turntable Preamp - Mini Electronic Audio Stereo Phonograph Preamplifier with 9V Battery Compartment, Separate DC 12V Power Adapter, RCA Input, RCA Output & Low Noise Operation (PP555): Home Audio & TheaterSecond, You need to take this now “line level” analog signal and inject it into a digital path. There are a number of devices that will take RCA input at line level and inject it into HDMI. A standing unit is called an HDMI Audio Inserter. Here’s one.Amazon.com: Monoprice BlackbirdTM 4K Series HDMI Audio Inserter: Home Audio & TheaterAnd, of course, the right cables. While it would be technically possible to put both pieces of electronics into a single device. I have not seen anybody that makes one. It’s kind of an unusual request.

How do I connect an all-in-one PC to a TV?

I’ve been a BIG advocate of using a BIG Screen TV with my primary PC for well over 5 years. As Steven Piteo suggests, and if your PC’s graphics card supports it, an HDMI-to-HDMI cable would be a good solution although even HDMI-to-VGA cable or adapter would be acceptable:BIG Screen LCD as PC Monitor? (←An eBay guide I authored.)For an older TV the BIG issue will be screen resolution, ideally you will want a newer TV that has 1920 x 1080 resolution capability for a sharp picture. However it is possible to get RCA to HDMI (left) or RCA to VGA (right) cables to connect older TV’s.SubmitIn general we find these cables most easily and inexpensively on eBay.

Roku with coax cable? My old TV uses coax cable, no HDMI. Better to buy new TV?

My older TV (Toshiba CRT) has only the coax input for my cable TV source. Is there a Roku set-top box or similar with a coax output? I have internet service thru a telephone landline; there is a splitter which feeds my desktop PC - this works fine, but now I can't afford $140/mo.
There seems to be lots of advice online for cable cutting, but all seem to address only flat-screen units with HDMI. Must I spend $250+ a new set?

Can I use RCA (white, yellow, red) output to a YPbPr input?

The answer is MAYBE... Some models of TV sets have the converter unit built-in
Samsung is one. The Blue of the RGB component input is the video input of the composite Yellow.
The blue input has a yellow circle around it and you can use either if you don't put anything in the green or red input.

Try the Blue input for the yellow wire.

Will a video card with an HDMI 2.0 output work with a 1080p TV/monitor with only an HDMI 1.4 input?

Revisions to HDMI don’t change the basic functionality, but instead add new capability as tech improves. 2.0 is 1.4 as much as it is 2.0. But, needless to say, a 1.4 cable will not do if you need capability found only in 2.0. Here’s a chart so you can understand what the revisions allow. As you can see, the only real difference between 2.0 and 1.4 is that the former can do 4k 60fps (plus associated audio and color channel improvements) and the latter can’t.

How to connect rca sdtv & toshiba satellite l645d?

According to
http://us.toshiba.com/computers/laptops/...
the only video-out connection this laptop has is a 15-pin VGA connector on the left side of the laptop between the USB and power ports.

If your "RCA sdtv ground model" (whatever than means) has a VGA input, then get a VGS cable and use the TV as an external monitor. If the "RCA sdtv ground model" has no VGA connector, then your only option is to get some sort of VGA-to-composite video converter like

Word of warning: Expect poor video quality.

Is it possible to connect the Xbox to a projector by HDMI and still have sound? How?

The most common way would be to use an AV receiver to do input switching and amplification. Assuming you have other sources like a cable and/or streaming box that you’d also like to connect to the projector, that would be the simplest setup. Even if the Xbox is your only input, the AV receiver is still a good solution since it neatly splits out the audio for the speakers and sends the video along to the projector.
