The most basic answer is being Nostalgic.Definitely some songs are very close to your heart and is connected in some way or other way to some unforgettable memories.There are many Hindi songs which have been stored in my mind for some mesmerising memories. But one song, which is extremely close to my heart is ‘Dekho Na’ from the movie Fanaa (2006) starring Aamir Khan and Kajol.I heard this song on loop when it came, also I was just 8 years old. When I was kiddo, I had a first crush on a girl younger than me, (probably 7 years old). That was a childish feeling. And I imagined that girl and myself in this song. Dancing in the rain and enjoying the rainy weather. So, this was one unforgettable memor of my childhood crush. That imagination part was the best. Recently about 2 months ago, I heard this song once again, and it made me feel damn nostalgic. I wished that if I could go into that time back. This song aroused my childhood memories. Makes me remember my childhood.Indeed, I became emotional at one point on hearing this song. Honey, it's normal to be sad when something reminds you of someone you really cared about and who hurt you really badly. I'm sorry this happened to you. Try to realize that you are worth too much to be treated that way. That guy was so wrong. Think about whether there are any signs or hints that could have told you that he was being dishonest or cheating and pay attention to those hints when you are dating someone in the future. Does hearing or thinking of songs from your youth, make you sad?
I don't know why, maybe it's because I was sad so much as a child. But when I hear or even think of old songs, I get so sad sometimes, that I get very depressed, even for hours. Does anyone else have this happen? It's not like I had a terrible childhood, and I'm thinking of specific bad memories or anything like that, it's just a feeling, not connected to any actual events.

Yesterday my cousin Kenny found my uncle Charlie dead in his apartment. He died from an allergic reastion to the antibiotic the DR put him on after his back surgery. He has tried to call the hospital but his phone was dying so he called my cousin to use her cell phone.....but he never made it to her house. I'm so sad I feel like I'm a shell of emptiness. To know my uncle is to love him. He had such a funny personality & found humor in everything. When my dad was hospitalized for 3 months my uncle stayed with my mom to help her out. So did I. I left everything to be there. We grew really close during that time and I can't picture life without him. He was my favorite uncle. His loss is devastating. I have no feelings right now. More than words by EXTREMETwo semi romantic stories from my life based on this song:- a 14 year old me started texting this guy and he refined (I myself had preferences at par with him) my taste in music and told me he finds the chords of this song the most complicated, made me put "more than words" as the most romantic song in my list, he eventually made two music cds for me, one with frank Sinatra only and the other with bands like Saigon kick, extreme and journey(started my cheesy obsession with them, thanks again to him). He wrote a letter and said "and if you asked me whether I like you or not, I don't think you need to be a rocket scientist to figure that out" and I ACTUALLY missed his hint. He and me are still on talking terms and wish each other on birthdays.Fast forward to when I was nineteen years old, my first job in a call centre, so this guy totally totally not my type, not my personality match either but gave off a vague hint that he wanted to be more than friends through another colleague takes a group of us to the nearest mall, finds a music store, picks up a guitar and guess what he starts strumming in his soothing voice. Unfortunately it was the "RIGHT SONG WRONG GUY" scenario, it had me rooted on the spot and made me feel special about myself that I am precious and lucky to have such a moment with my favourite song being sung out to me but in my heart I knew that he wasn't the guy for me even though I was heavily impressed to at least date him, he got in the army at a very nice post later.Almost all my crushes and "I want to be serious with this guy and he kind of like me too" kind of encounters were mostly musicians and I made all of them strum this song on request in house parties etc.Music was and is a beautiful phase in my life.MemoriesP.s Thanks for reading, this song truly is different from other songs for meP.p.s I hate hints too, love is a battlefield.
