Why do people like anime?
Anime is a whole new world for those who cherish great storylines with the right style of animation. Anime leaves your eyes with awesome visuals which are impactful enough to last forever and plots worthy enough for rewatching.People (myself included) love anime for many reasons,some of which are listed down :-The animation is unique and imbibes with them the culture of Japan which is a great source for cultural exploration.Tell me,can we find these kind of visuals anywhere else?Plots and storylines are great and it makes your brain’s imaginative domain widened.Decent plot and storyline, eh?. Do I need to say anymore?Music associated with anime ,be it openings or background scores adapt with the story and therefore paints the anime in a new colour.There are so many genres in anime which are not generally found in normal cartoonic animations.(no offence intended)Limited genre? I don’t think so.The voice over artists of anime are fabulous in conveying the right amount of emotions in the right direction.Another reason for its expanded popularity is that when anime was aired in the 20th century along with its cartoon counterparts ,it exhibited better quality of animation,plots,voice over acting and music which attracted majority towards it.Also in countries like India ,the early 2000s introduced some really good anime like Dragon Ball Z, Pokemon, Naruto, Beyblade which left a great impact on us as this kind of animation and storytelling was new and appealing for us.Animation of 1989?! That’s anime for you.Anime characters are well developed and have great personalities which makes us look upto them and learn some really valuable traits.They inspire us. Stories too are well thought,which is a major point.Anime caters to every age group unlike normal animations which are mostly made for the “kiddy” generation and thus anime attracts larger population.Anime is a dreamland and the people who love it are its inhabitants with access to some really great stories which carries with them a rainbow of emotions and scenic beauty dazzling enough to leave you spellbound. Do you need anything else ?
Why do people find anime girls attractive?
anime is a type of cartoon, like pokemon but the people also its not wrong to think they look sexy it is my choice so F off many people think the same as i do too. they are pictures of girls i dont care they look nice, also how does that make me lonely or what ever my choice my dessions on what i think! if you have nothing nice to say or if you cant answer my question dont bother in posting i dont care what you think, i think they look attractive thats it nothing more or less. but thank you to anna girl, for the resonable answer at least you tried, hay.
What's do you like more, anime or manga?
I find that Manga is far more convenient for me personally. I like being able to imagine voices that would fit with the character instead of some horribly annoying voice that i would have to endure in Anime. I find that there is a lot more detail and i enjoy being able to reread a page or so for the part i want instead of having to watch a an entire episode. I like that it is far more to the point and therefor doesn't have many fillers that you can find in abundance in Naruto. Though there are aspects in Anime that i see are good as well. If an Anime has a great soundtrack it can very often save the story for me, that being that the music makes moves me or excites me. Another benefit of Anime is the fact that it is moving. I was never much for action, but reading it in black and white is a hell. I can't tell what is going on and before i know it i have to reread to get it all in. I also like Manga because the stories for me seem more complete if that makes sense. Anyhow i think its just a matter of preference
I wanna know about anime and get into it. Where do I start?
First of all, think about your favorite genre of film or television show. Like comedy, drama, sitcoms, etc. Then, go look up anime from that genre. Because anime is like any other form of media, in that it has genres. As well as series aimed for certain demographics. Young children, boys, girls, young adults, etc. There are anime designed specifically for each group.Next are two of the most well known and influential of anime; Sailor Moon and Dragon Ball (franchise as a whole).Sailor Moon influenced and inspired many shoujo anime (anime for girls) ever since it aired back in the 1990s. And for many girls in the 90s, it was their first real glimpse of anime.The Dragon Ball franchise was/is much the same for shounen series (anime for boys). And the series' main character, Son Goku, is recognized the world over. Dragon Ball's original run (late 80s through the 90s) was around the same time as Sailor Moon's was. And both series have recent, ongoing series. Dragon Ball Super, a continuation of the main series. And Sailor Moon Crystal, a retelling of the series, but closer to the source material.A third, if more unsung series, would be Ranma 1/2. It aired about the same time as the other two, but took a much more lighthearted approach than the other two. And it too influenced anime, the harem genre. Though, most series that followed it, made their characters copy/paste versions of other harems. Ranma 1/2 though, went about it rather, uniquely.Those three series are generally a good place to start for new anime fans. And all three have English dubbed versions available if reading subtitles isn't really your thing. I hope this helped!

What channels play anime, and anime shows do they play?
It depends on what kind of cable or satelite you have. I have verizon fios and I get the Funimation Channel http://www.funimation.com/ . It plays all kinds of shows with action, romance, and cool songs. Some cable and satelite services have the Anime Network http://www.theanimenetwork.com/ also a good channel with good shows. If you have access to neither (which you might) you should watch Scifi on monday night http://www.scifi.com/anime/ . Not as good as the other channels but not bad. Hope I could help.
