My boyfriend wants me to gain weight because he likes curvy girls?

I was at the edge of being overweight, last year. I lost so much weight and got to 52kgs at 165cm, now I weigh about 55 kgs and he says Id look better if I gained more weight because he loves curvy girls.
The thing is, I want to lose weight and be 52 kgs again, but I dont want him to be unattracted to me, cause he isnt attracted to skinny girls.
Weve been together for 3 years.

So what to do? impress my bf or be happy with myself?

Hey, a lot of people wanting to gain weight are underweight and wanting to be healthy. They are not becoming overweight, just normal.

Being underweight is as harmful as being overweight. It can cause problems of osteoporosis from insufficient weight on bones, and organ damage from insufficient cushioning.

Underweight people also have a lower life expectancy than those at a healthy weight.

Wanting to be at a healthy, normal weight is something that should be encouraged. Whether this means losing weight to avoid being overweight, or gaining weight to avoid being underweight.

When people talk about wanting to gain weight they do not mean to become overweight, just healthy. It is a good thing!

My boyfriend wants a girl who likes gaining weight?

Shortly after we started dating in college I ended up gaining 20lbs up to 180lbs. I quickly went on a diet but my boyfriend said he liked it. He told me he actually wanted a curvy girlfriend. He said it would be awesome if I just liked gaining weight and that I should want to gain weight. Like he would say just imagine outgrowing all your clothes or jiggling like wouldn't that be fun. I admit at first it was kinda cool. He would make me whatever I wanted or take me out whever. I could just sit back and relax and not worry about anything. Every 10 lbs I gained he said deserved a special cake or something. So I ended up gaining to 230lbs before I started to worry about how big he wanted me. I kind of started to give up after that. I gained up to 240 and then told him I couldn't do it anymore. I hadn't ever really liked it and that I was comfortable enough at 240 I could live with that. He said fair enough and since then we have been happy their although he still tries to tempt me with food. I'm super jiggly and my whole body bounces when I walk. Just, are their actually girls out their who gain on purpose? Cause I'm afraid he will leave me for one so every now and then I cave and gorge myself because I love him.
