MTech Crypto 1st batch will pass out in 2020. So the answer of this question can not be given at least before November or Decomeber 2019.Though ISIcal has centralised placements. Everyone from any Masters degree courses will get opportunity to sit for many or most of the placements. So the chance of getting placed is always high. As far as job/ project is concerned, the tenure of a JRF in DRDO is not more than 5 years, when your go leave the place as an SRF. Not much from career point of view in the place, but there is a BIG OPPORTUNITY to go for PhD right away when you join the particular Lab. You can enrol for PhD and your senior scientist/ departmental head will never stop you from applying there, and they will send you for PhD on sympathetic grounds as you are not a permanent employee there.Many people grab this opportunity and do their PhD, also taking regular stipend/ salary from DRDO as well. Then they get selected in some higher post elsewhere and leave the job happily.
