I Want To Get A Sorta Dark Tan And Im Using Spf 50 Would 5 Hours Be Enough To Get Me A Tan

Im tan, but i want to be *PALE*!!!?

yeah iam tan too, and people always think i'm mexican or spanish or italian or greek but i'm neither. at least i don't think so. if u ask me tan skin is a lot healthier looking, everybody and wants it but can't get it. consider yourself lucky. also most guy i know have said tan skin is so pretty and beautiful. seriously enjoy your skin. my friend is so jealous of my skin cause its tan and she tried everything to get tanned it just dosen't work. but if u really wanna the try lighter shades of powder for your face although it could look weird compared to your legs or arm. so my advice KEEP OUT OF THE SUN!!! at all cost, or wear long sleeve shirts or something to cover your arms or sunscreen. legs are ok to get tanned because they look better than pale legs seriously pale legs are hideous!!!you'll look like a ghost. also wear sun block spf 50+ if u get tanned easily. and apply again every 2-3 hours. keep out of the sun stand or sit in the shade especially in the noon and afternoon cause the sun will tan u the most at that time! wear hats to prevent tanned faces, and sunglasses. try layers in light colors. like put on light shades like pink yellow and white, rather then black, navy and grey. and dress in layers like wear a tank top and throw on a zip up hoodie over it just leave it upzipped or you'll be boiling. or wear a long sleeve or 3/4 sleeve shirt over or under both are cute. try making cute summer outifts with layers so your arms don't get tanned or burned cause i want the same thing i don't like having tanned arms it's not attractive in my mind. but seriously tanned skin is gorgeous everybody loves it, be happy and love your beautiful skin no matter what, cause i'm sure everybody envies u for your skin. i bet u r b e a u t i f u l!!!!!!
anyway good luck;)LOL!!!

Does frequent use of sunscreen cream darken the skin?

No , even sunscreen helps you to prevent your skin from sunlight. When your skin senses UV rays from the sun, it produces melanin to protect itself, and this causes your skin to get darker. But skin darkening is also a sign of damage to the skin. The only way to prevent your skin from getting darker in the sun is to protect it from the ultraviolet rays that cause tanning, cancer, premature aging, and wrinkles. There are many ways to do this, including protecting your skin with lotions, clothes, and other sun-protective products. For skin pigmentation , acne scar removal , birthmark removal , warts and moles removal from LASER please visit www.skindelhi.com for further inquires

If I go tanning, will my scar become the same color as the rest of my skin or will it remain lighter?

Hi there!

Normally scars stay the same color, regardless of whether you go tanning or not. Once there is trauma to the skin and it's cut and scar tissue is present once it heals, there is an absence of melanin (the pigment that colors your skin) where the scar is. You can go tanning, but make sure to use a tanning lotion that has an SPF 4 in it to protect your skin (and the scar). If I'm not mistaken, California Tan has a great tanning lotion that has a mild SPF in it. Ask at your local tanning salon.

If you want to cover or mask the scar, spray on tanning may be a great option. The mystic tans (www.mystictan.com) use colored dye to coat your skin and will help to hide any scars or imperfections.

Hope this helps!! :)

You have 5 days to leave the country you live in now. You may never return. What do you do?

Make double, no, triple sure that your seat’s in Business Class. Then: toothbrush, travel-size toothpaste, floss, two bathing suits, Coppertone Sunblock 50, 6 and 4 (I hate getting sunburns on my scalp!), sunnies, skin moisturizer some sandals, a handful of undies (which match your tan line perfectly, three good books, your laptop with adapter (the first time I went to Iceland, I didn't do my homework and fried my electric toothbrush — duh!!), a good pair of Bluetooth ear buds, your iPhone (of course) — oh, and some sort of easy-to-use contraption to make sure you've got an even layer of Coppertone so there are no streaks in your tan (it's oh-so-mmortifying when your tan’s uneven — makes you look like you didn't think ahead! (“Tsk, tsk!)Some of you may be wondering at my choice of Sunblock factors. First of all, you want something that'll stop those pernicious UV rays from penetrating where they're not welcome (like the bridge of my nose and my scalp). The trick to getting a really awesome tan without burning is to go lie in the sun wearing Factor Eight for only 30 mins per side. Then go back to your room, shower, moisturize and plaster on Factor 50. By the evening you'll have a good idea how your skin handles the sun. I’m only half-white, truth be told — my dad was English and Scottish with blond hair and blue eyes . My mother, however, was a full-bloodied Greek. I'm happy to say my melanin-producing glands work on Greek time, so when I get a few weeks in the sun, people tell me I look Indian. BUT . . . you have to periotically take cover under a tree and see how things are progressing. If it’s a light red, apply ample moisturizer and go sightseeing or go to the bar and have a couple of MaiTais and chill. Next day, go around 10:00 and use Factor 6 and do 45 minutes both sides. Then get out of the sun. Wait till you're about to hit the hay to evaluate your day’s work.I just realized I just completely went off-topic . . . Sorry, y’all! Hope the info proves useful to someone:)

Is it harder to get a tan/sunburn in cold weather?

Not substantially.  The sunburn is caused by a particular kind of ultraviolet radiation, which causes a chemical reaction that the body responds to.  The red flush of sunburn isn't the actual burn (as you can see by pressing on the skin, turning it white).  It's the blood rushing in as response to the damage. That damage may occur slightly faster on warm skin, but the predominant factor is the amount of UV radiation coming in.  Strip out the UV, and you won't get sunburn, regardless of the temperature.  (You can get yourself a real burn, rather than a sunburn, with a magnifying glass, concentrating the light.)You're far less likely to get a sunburn when it's 30 degrees out because (a) you're more likely to put on some clothes, and (b) it's usually only 30 degrees out because the sun is low in the sky (i.e. winter), so the total incident radiation is low, including UV.  But if you go climb a mountain in summer you can easily get a sunburn on your exposed skin even though it's cold enough to make snow.  (The reflection off the snow adds to the total brightness.)

Anyone own a Iguana?

I am wondering a few things about iguanas.
How's the temperment? What is the average size, and weight? How much food do they eat per day, and what kinds? How much can they cost? What size tank or other place do you keep them in? Do you buy them from a breeder? Do they like other iguanas as friends?
I think I asked all I wanted to know but, you can add more, if you know more.
Thank you in advanced!
