I Want To Get Gta 5 But My Parents Won

Why wont my parents let me get GTA 5?

I have just turned thirteen and I have been asking my parents if I can get GTA 5 for about 4 years now. I understood why they would not let me play it when I was 10 or 11 but when I was 12 I cannot wrap my head around it. They told me they would trust me playing it but they still would not want me play. The main reason I want it is to play with my friends online they told me that they got it when they wore 11 or 12. I am 13 now and already understand all that stuff my friends also told me that the swearing in the game is way more controlled than at school when I was 11 or 12. I'm just looking for suggestions on how I can convince my parents to get my this game.
Thanks

Why won't my parents let me play GTA 5?

I'm 13 and already know most if not all of the "bad" stuff that parents try to keep there kids away from. My mom took me to the store to buy GTA 5. Not caring until the guy in the store said something about rated M violence, nudity, suggestive themes blah blah blah, and i told her i already have GTA 3 (which i do). When we got home she told my dad about it (he is a police officer) and he got really angry and took it away from me and started to lexure me about the nudity and sexual content. And i think thats the main thing their worriered about, but i dont see any point in them trying to keep me away from that because sex is a normal thing. Without it nothing would be living on this Earth. And it just a game, And i already took all those health classes in stuff. So i dont see what the big deal is. So why wont they let me play it?

Why won't my parents let me play GTA?

I found a two-page codes list lying near our printer and I started reading it because it didn’t look like an important document. I understood it was some codes relating to a game and what caught my eye was a code for sex appeal. I was shocked because: 1. My parents scan every paper they come across in our room; 2. My brother was 8 yo then. I then asked him about the game he had printed the codes for and he opened the PC to show me the game. Excited, he was showing me how he can take any car from anyone and could pick any ‘girlfriend’ he liked. I told him he can not easily get any car and any girl he likes in real life. After a few days I saw that the player kicks or punches people and snatches their cars. I straight away uninstalled that game and bought chess for my brother. May be your parents are having the same issues.

I'm 17 and my parents won't let me play gta V?

as the title says, im 17, almost 18, and my parents won't let me get gta v. Their claim is that it will pollute my mind and is too bad. Yet ive played other games like CoD since i was 15, and nothing has changed in my personality. It really makes me mad because I get really good grades and test scores and they always tell me I've turned out to be the perfect kid. The thing is, they dont give a crap about my younger brothers (ages 10,10, and 11). they let them play CoD and watch all these movies they would never have let me watch at their age, yet when I want to ask for a game for christmas, or even offer to buy it myself, the answer is no. I think I'm mature enough, it just makes me mad how they baby me, when I make very good decisions and am a man of integrity. any help, becuase I just feel like they shelter me too much, when I'll be off to college next year

My parents won't let my brother get GTA IV?

So My bro is 12 and he wants GTA but our mom and dad said no to him. He is mature for his age and we know GTA has sexual content and my parents said he was mature. They are afraid of the sexual content but he already plays M rated games with sexual content. He has a girlfriend and yes he is 12 and she is 12 but they don't kiss and all that so don't blabber about how young he is. I just want to know why my parents won't let him get it and how to convince them. By the way he doesn't have a yahoo account so he asked me to put this up for him.

All my friends have GTA 5 but my parents won't let me get it. What should I do?

You’re feeling peer pressure, pure and simple.GTA isn’t controversial because it’s bloody, there are games that are even more bloody with lower ratings than an 18+. The most gory that GTA tends to get outside of cutscenes is smears on walls and pools around dead bodies. It’s controversial because……Actually it’s easier to list the topics it does not cover.…And I can’t really think of any. It is honestly that offensive as a title. That’s the way GTA has always been, nothing is sacred, and that’s what many people object to with it.Regarding your friends: One thing I experienced growing up was a number of peers considered it cool to play a game that was beyind their certificate - it’s probably the same effect as smoking or drinking before the age of 18/21 (depending on where you live). A number of the kids I knew of who did this sort of under-age activity acted like doing this somehow made them “more mature”.It doesn’t. That idea is a very simplified and arguably misleading idea of what being mature is that comes from trying to understand what it means to be an adult. What it means to be an adult is, however, a complicated question to answer.I’ve known classmates who treated playing GTA at the age of 14 as a badge of honour. If you want to talk about cool cars you’re going to get what about investigating the Forza Motorsport or the Midnight Club series? What about Need for Speed? These games offer a huge range of nice cars to experience that you can really customise but none of them are saddled with the controversial baggage that GTA has with it.GTA is not the only game with cool cars. It’s a massive sandbox and that’s where much of its appeal comes from. It’s a shame there are so few games that reach GTA’s level of freedom but if it helps, consider if there are alternative avenues you and your friends can enjoy.Enjoy Titanfall - it is an exhilarating game and you’re going to ruin your fun constantly thinking “I wish I was playing GTA with my friends.” It’s not pleasant when the thrill of an awesome shot or vigorous comeback in a match has to wrestle with those feelings of what could be and “I wish I was doing something else”.

How to convince my parents to let me get GTA 5?

So, im 13 and my parents wont let me get gta 5. I talked to my dad about buying it with my own money. He said he would have to talk to my mom about it. So then the next day he told me that im gonna have to wait a few days after it comes out to be able to play it. They want to see the parental reviews. Which i already know that there is some nude scences in the game, that may drive them away from it. But anyways also my mom thinks that the game degrades women as a whole, yadaadada. My dad on the other hand is open to the fact that maybe i might be mature enough to play it. I told my dad that i wont play it for nudity or the drugs but id like to play it like a fps or need speed. Also i have rdr, which is basically gta in a western setting. I also have bo2, halos, and lfd2. How do i further convince them? Please no answers saying: "wait till your older" or stuff like that. I am a straight a's student, an understand video games arnt real and wont go around blowing up schools or something (my parents already understand that video games dont make people violent) please help! Thanks in advance!

I’m 14 but my parents won’t get me GTA 5. They’re stubborn about this even though I can play M games like Cod: Infinite Warfare, Battlefield 4, and Arkham Knight. How can I convince them?

You don’t.Your parent made a choice, they don’t want you to witness what this game present to you. It’s a moral choice they choose to take.GTA isn’t only about violence, which the two other game you mention showcase. It’s about things that a young teen should never had to deal with nor address. Please have faith in your parents, ask them why they think you shouldn’t play it, maybe their reasoning is that “the rating said so”, but I wouldn’t think in this day and age, parents still are like that.If you really want to play that game, ask your parent to inform themselves more on this game, to not only see the newspaper and tv about it. They have a computer, they know how to search stuff about it and make a choice with reason and morality.

How to convince my parents to let me buy gta 5?

Red Dead Redemption is made by the same company that make GTA as I'm sure you well know and honest to God it is literally GTA with cowboys so basically this is the same sort of content GTA contains.

GTA has had one instance of full frontal nudity but it was guy in a steam room, it wasn't sexual in any sense. You have strip clubs yes, but they are in a bra and thong at the very least and then finally you have prostitutes but all you do is see the car bounce up and down, you don't see anything inappropriate there.

There was one instant where a sex game was uncovered in the original copies of GTA San Andreas. Rockstar inserted a sex mini game but removed it in the final copy of the game, however they didn't bother removing the code for the game so someone managed to reactivate the code using a cheat, however after discovered Rockstar was required to create a new version of the game with the code removed completely. The game have very little visible sexual content. Everything in it is as inappropriate as what you'll come across in Red Dead Redemption.

Just to point out as well I have been playing GTA since 9 and I have turned out okay.

How do I persuade my parents to get me GTA5?

If you're not old enough, you should wait. Not because playing GTA will turn you into a mass murderer, that is bullshit, I played GTA Vice City when I was 9 and used to steal ambulances to roll over people : I'm perfectly fine in real life. The reason why I tell you you should wait is because I regret playing GTA so early, it was a waste of time. Why ? Because I didn't have a clue of what was going on plot-wise, I didn't get any of the jokes, and I was billion years away from understanding the satirical aspects of this game. Playing GTA so early made me miss something, now when I think about it, the first thing I think about is destroying police cars or shooting at people. It sure is fun, but not really intelligent, and it's a shame because there's a lot of intelligence in these games. Go get this Call Of Duty no brainer if you want, but just wait until you're 18 to play GTA.
