There is one patch of hair where I can see the natural texture of my hair. She gets mad every time i bring it up. All this is coming from a women who was been Natural for years

I want to go all natural with my hair but i NEED HELP!!?

Hey, I am natural. And I know it's hard to find products that work on your hair, I know I have tried tons! But get on YouTube and type on natural hair products and just start watching videos. When I wear my hair natural curly i ( which is most of the time) I wash my hair once a week with shampoo. And 1-2 times it a co-wash. For my shampoo I use either beautiful textures shampoo, kinky curly shampoo, or there's another one but I can't remember. For my co-washing I use as i am coconut co-wash, or herbal essence conditioner. I also deep condition at least once a month with beautiful textures deep conditioner. I use a leave in conditioners before styling, I use beautiful textures, kinky curly, and as I am leave ins. And these are work best for my hair. You might have to try a few different brands to find something u like best. But I would have to say my favorite brand is as I am ( but they are super expensive) my other favorite is beautiful textures... They are awesome and so affordable. Kinky curly is okay... Not my favorite, but it might work great for you. For styling I use eco styles gel, and Cantu Shea butter curl cream for wash n goes. For my twist outs I use as I am twist cream ( works great) or beautiful textures curl cream... Also works good. For protective styles I just pin my hair in some kind of up do. But yea, sorry this is so long. If u need help for styling, just get on YouTube and type in how to style natural hair and you should be okay. But I think I covered everything. If u want to email me feel free. Shay.04evans@yahoo.com.

Why do guys say they like natural girls but go after girls with tons of makeup and plastic surgeries?

Thats unfortunate, but its the same reason why many women say they dont look down on natural women but then they go around preaching how a “woman should wear makeup, as it is feminine.” Because of our “modern” culture that supports fakery, fake looks, etc. And sorry but I do consider makeup (not to mention plastics), fake. I dont wear it and yeah, I meet people trying to persuade me to wear it or calling me “ugly” and “not feminine enough” for not wearing it. Although the very same people who tell me things like that, do have the really ugly faces in comparison to me. While (not out of bragging) I dont think my face is ugly without makeup. I look certainly much better naturally than those people who say I “need it”. Its in our culture, like e.g. in some cultures it is so that women are only considered pretty when they have extremely pale faces, or wear plates in their mouths (in some African tribes), or have long necks (some Asian cultures), etc. None of the mentioned things are natural, just like makeup is not natural as well. But people learn to view these things as “attractive”, because of the culture they live in. Beauty is not really that objective, its highly culturally conditioned as well.

I have no natural talent for basketball but I love it and I want to get into the NBA. If I practice more than anyone else can I do it?

Woah, dude.I ever be in your shoes.Let me tell you my story first. When i was still in Junior High School. I really want to be a basketball player and join with basketball team, but you know what? My coach ever told me, “you’re too short, your physical performance didn’t best fit to be basketball player, go to volleyball.”And that’s the first time i said, “SHIT”I didn’t play basketball again at that time, but i always practiced by myself. I played with my friends and give a big efforts for that. I learned from youtube how to dribble like NBA players. All of those efforts paid well with the results. I can play basketball. And one day, my coach asked me to “re-join” with basketball team, and i said, “i prefer for volleyball like you said”..Dude, Basketball is not about natural talents. Its about habit that make you excellence. You need to know that there are thousands of people that have no natural talent for basketball, but they really loved it and they want to join with NBA. If you practice twice a day, there will be someone that practice three times a day. If you practice ten times a day, there will be someone that practice twelve times a day. Means that there will be always a better person in this world. But you need to know, you can always develop and be better. Don’t ever give up with your dreams. Besides you need to practice, you also need a “connection” to the NBA. Being able to go to great university or highschool that has been trusted for NBA nowadays also help you so much. Thrive and strive for your dream. I really want to look forward for that dream JTons of loves,FDW

Natural birth vs epidural?

I was like you i wanted to go all natural, but i was put on platocen (not sure if that's how u spell it anyways it gives u contractions) and i was in so much pain that i got an epidural, but it barley even worked because my platocen was up so high that i could still feel the contraction. I didn't feel bad after i had to do what i had to do in order to push my baby out... well i didn't even get to do that i was in labor for 31 hrs and pushed for and hour and nothing happened so they took me in for a c-section because my daughters head was in a weird position that i wouldn't be able to push her out. So they gave me plactocen and kept in in labor for nothing...lol but it was worth it because i have a beautiful daughter to show for it.

Wanting to get off depression meds and due all natural?

It all depends. Have you been in therapy regularly or just on the meds? The thing with depression meds is that they facilitate you thinking in a new way. once you begin thinking in a new way you can retrain your brain to stop that little negative dialog that plays in your head. It takes time and work, but by learning coping skills, your brain chemistry actually does change. Just like with every experience you grow new brain cells and your brain structure changes, you can change your emotions. Step down slowly, don't just jump off because your brain won't know what to do, and do it with the cooperation of your therapist. best advice I can give ya.
