I Want To Innovate In Future But I Feel That I Am Not Smart Enough

Want to be a lawyer but don't think I'm smart enough?

Hear me out on this one...
There is this book I'm reading called "The New Psyco-Cybernetics" by Dr.Maxwell Maltz. And explains how we are all created equal, but somewhere down the road we start creating beliefs that sets our personalities. To either believe we can accomplish something or utterly fail trying. Truth is, you can be a great lawyer, but you are telling yourself you're not smart enough. Based on what??? Don't allow yourself to put yourself down, nor anybody else.
Read good books, because what you put into your mind, is what comes out of your mouth.

I feel so dumb like I am not smart enough for college?

Well, I am a college student and a lot of the people around me are really very smart and intelligent. They just study very little but end up doing amazing. Even if I study and put in a lot of effort, I don't even do half as well as them and I have trying to work on my limitations like not getting too stressed for exams. But it just isn't working out at all, no matter how much I try. I feel burnt out, tired and extremely stupid- like I'll never do as well as I want to. And it is really getting to me, like really badly through really low self-esteem. Grades have been the things I have been obsessing over and I do dream of going to a really good graduate school with a good scholarship. But I feel like I am not really intelligent enough for neither my undergrad(let alone grad.) Any tips on how I can do well at college?

I want to become a dentist but my parents don't think i'm smart enough to do it so what should i do!!!?

I graduated high school with a 2.0 GPA so i guess i'm not smart but i do believe that if i study a lot and pay attention in class i know i can do this...But yesterday my parents told me that i should choose a shorter and easier career because i'm not smart enough to become a dentist..this makes me feel kind of sad that my parents don't think i can become some thing important in life what should i do should i continue this career or just choose another one like Data Entry..my dad wants me to get an easy career or something simple that he know i can do....What should i do any Suggestions????

Do you have to be smart to be a dentist?

I know these other answers are bringing you down, so I'd like to offer some advice.
I have had similar thoughts too, although I am at a university. A VERY helpful site called student-doctor network (sdn.net) is what got me to stop that thinking.
From all the information I found there, I can tell you that what you need to do is get the best grades you can in community college and then transfer to a university as soon as it is possible. I am not just saying this, dental schools want your per-requisites completed at an accredited 4-year university.

I don't feel like I'm smart enough to go to college, but everyone keeps telling me I should. What should I do?

What will technology look like in the near future?

Lets trickel down to what is actually possible in the future :Smartphones will be integrated into human bodies.(There is intense research here for coming up with minimum hardware that can be implanted into human body).Computer chips are going to shrink and become much more smaller than you can image. You will probably need only one LCD screen. Thats it.Conference and meetings are going to happen in 3D world. No more business travelling. House hold articles know what to do themselves. ex:- A glass that can open the tap, fill water and shut tap again ( Trust me this is happening), lawn mover that mows own its own, machines that cook whatever you ask it to make.Cars that drive on their own,  and PARK themselves. No more tension. Language barrier to be broken as live translators on smart glasses are already in prototype stage.LCD screen will start bending and using least power than ever before.Technologies that will make you happier by changing your mood. The above technologies are something that might be visible in 20 years form now. In 30 years everything would be virtually possible. On the flip side:Shortage of natural water and food to be the highest.Fuel resources on the brink of existence. There will be no more poverty. Poor people will just die. Uncontrollable pollution. Wall-E situation is not too far by now. No more heaters required. The world is already warm.Families will become obsolete. Being single is the new family. Girlfriends and boyfriends are now virtual. The day technology taking control of us has finally arrived.

What jobs/careers will be left after advances in AI and automation are made?

With some smart inventions and innovations, I feel, most of the jobs performed by human today, that are very repetitive, redundant, and unproductive in nature would be replaced by automated jobs/Robots. This would be done across the industries. Be it Agriculture, Mechanical and Automobile, Production, Chemical, Textile, IT etc.But the Transition would happen, only gradually, may be in next Five or Ten years.I have read an interesting article, every ten years once, today’s jobs will become irrelevant. New industries, Technologies and Products will be reforming the world replacing the older things that are not relevant. If I am smart enough to catch-up, I would still do my job with all the new tools and Technologies. I will see those as positive aspects, that reduces my manual effort and make my day productive. If I am not smart enough, NO WORRIES, WORLD IS VERY BIG WITH OPPORTUNITIES APLENTY :-)You know, human being is a smart enough to seek alternatives and continue the life.So my thought would be “Instead of being very anxious about losing jobs to robot, we can gear up to be in a better position, to create, handle and update those dumb machines”Possible preparation could be- Learning to automate things, learning current Trends in your industry (For eg in IT- Machine Learning algorithms, Big data analytics etc.), being aware about trends in other industriesUnknown is always unknown, let’s try to solve the known problems and live a happier life :-)
