I Want To Make A Lot Of Money In Life And I

What do you want to do with your life?

Well, there isn't enough life to live to do what I'd like to do and see.

First, I would like to finish out college, like anybody should want to do. Once I know everything I can about the field I'm going into, I intend to reach out and help the world in anyway I can. Help research for many different things by throwing in some donations. Help the needy whenever I can, and teach as many as I can everything I've learned over the course of my life. With my life, I want to progress humanity as a whole. I hope to change people, and make them work harder to reach their goals. I'd like to help everyone overcome their fears, and help them remember that life isn't so bad or scary. Life is what you make of it. You can't let fear hold your life back, we're all going to die someday anyways, and that's the end of this life. You can't do anything you wanted to do after your dead, so I want to spend my life working hard and smart. I want everyone to work hard for their goals. Life is too short, but hopefully it won't always be that way. Maybe one day, we can live hundreds of years on average, but until that day comes we have to live this short life to the fullest. If you fail, at least you tried, right? Better than wasting away with nothing to smile about in your older days.

TL;DR: Live life to the fullest, and make the world a better place or die trying.

Do you have to sacrifice your life to make a lot of money?

If you look at Warren Buffett's life as a case study, you would conclude that the answer is no, you don't have to sacrifice your life to make a lot of money. First, before he really made a lot of money, he realized the power of money to enable him to pursue what he wanted to pursue:[Money] could make me independent. Then I could do what I wanted to do with my life. And the biggest thing I wanted was to work for myself. I didn't want other people directing me. The idea of doing what I wanted to do every day was important to me.Knowing this, Buffett worked to achieve financial independence. He achieved this goal early, and clearly didn't have to sacrifice his life to do so:At age 25, I had enough money to live off of. I had two children and the equivalent of roughly $2M in today’s money. Everything since then has been surplus. With financial independence achieved, Buffett could do anything he wanted. Of course, since it was Buffett, his goal was to invest and make more money. But instead of a sacrifice, this was exactly what he wanted to do with his life:At 86 and 79, Charlie and I remain lucky beyond our dreams. We were born in America; had terrific parents who saw that we got good educations; have enjoyed wonderful families and great health; and came equipped with a “business” gene that allows us to prosper in a manner hugely disproportionate to that experienced by many people who contribute as much or more to our society’s well-being. Moreover, we have long had jobs that we love, in which we are helped in countless ways by talented and cheerful associates. Indeed, over the years, our work has become ever more fascinating; no wonder we tap-dance to work. If pushed, we would gladly pay substantial sums to have our jobs (but don’t tell the Comp Committee).Buffett is one of the wealthiest people in the world, and he also loves his work. In fact, he says he would even pay to have the job he has now! If that isn't an example of someone who didn't have to sacrifice his life to make a lot of money, I don't know what is.Sources:The Snowball by Alice Schroeder http://www.bengrahaminvesting.ca...http://www.berkshirehathaway.com...

Is life all about money?

The school used to end at 5 PM, and most of the parents used to come directly from office to pick their children up.But as you are never sure about the office hours, many parents used to get late. Some would show up at 5:30 while some might get late by an hour too.The school staff was getting tired of this as they were getting late because of such late parents. They had to find a solution.Well, they thought that it is all about money. Let’s charge those parents for being late.So they came up with this notice and sent it to all parents:The school rates punctuality the most. And the same should be followed by parents too. If any parent reaches late to pick up their children, they will have to pay for the delay. The charges would be 100 INR per thirty minutes. The school was happy about this proposition. Now, they were sure that no parent will reach late as all love their money a lot.Next day, they saw a decrease in number of parents coming late. They got happy that it was working. For a week, they could see the change. But, after a week, everything backfired.More and more parents started coming late. Those who used to come by 6 were now coming as late as 6:30 PM. And that idea that they had brought in to make parents come early was now making those parents reach late. When asked why they were coming late now, a parent replied: “Initially, when I used to get late, I felt embarrassed. So somehow I was trying to reach with the least delay. But now since the school came up with the policy of 100 INR per half hour of delay, I got free of that embarrassment. So whenever I have more work, I just try to finish it and then reach school and pay the extra charge.”Is it all about money? You got the answer. Those school staff who tried to enforce fine, the parents were actually happy paying the same. Initially, they were coming on time for saving themselves from embarrassment, but now they had money to spare them from it.-Arjuna@War
