I want to open an alcohol or wine outlet shop in Karnataka. How do I start?

You need to get a license issued by the state Excise department, which is the main criterea. Once you have that, the dealers of alcohol and wine would beeline to your shop to dump their stock. Take care to see that your shop's position do not violate the recent Supreme Court guidelines.Getting a license is pretty difficult and mostly it's politically controlled and goes for a premium through brokers. You may not be able to avoid that. But don't get cheated by Touts. There are many on the streets to catch hold of unsuspecting targets. Check the broker's antecedents before you part with money.

How do I start up a fashion outlet?

Hmm, this is tough because most of the outlet stores succeed because their main customer is looking for overstock from the main store.*Starting one without an established business is obviously harder. I would start by targeting stores that don't have as many established brick and mortar stores but do have an outlet. Go to the outlet malls and take stock of how much merch they have in the store, how their pricing differs from online and their other stores. I would also start by reading as many books as you can on fashion (for anyone starting a fashion business I recommend Mary Gelhar's book, it honestly is one of the best primers for the way that money works in brick and mortar.) The money is quite different from ecommerce, and the money needed for supply chain only can often cripple fashion startups. Then I would talk to people who are industry professionals. It should be easy to find them on linkedin. *You may not mean an outlet store, and this could be a language issue, but since you've A2A, I'm assuming that you want my U.S. expertise and in that case you need to ensure that you know the difference between an outlet store and a main store. In conversations with most people this distinction doesn't matter, in conversations with people who work in retail...it can be a big difference.

Sparks flew out of my outlet!?

I have a handheld back massager that is really old. I was using it today and smelled a burning scent. Before I could turn it off I heard
A loud pop. I immediately turn the massager off and looked around to see what popped. I was looking around when I saw the outlet te massager is plugged into send out a good six to seven inch orange spark. Thankfully nothing was in front of it so it didn't catch anything on fire. It hasn't sparked again and that was about 20 minutes ago. I stood by with a bowl of flour to throw on it in case it did. I want to unplug the appliance to throw it away, but I don't know if that will cause me to get electrocuted. I live on my own so I don't know these electrical things. Thanks in advance for your time!

Can you find good deals at a Nike outlet store?

While I do not have extensive knowledge about Nike, I can however, offer you what I do know about outlet stores. Outlet stores typically advertise savings of 20%-70% off original retail prices (if I recall correctly). That means your looking to approximately a $10-$20 mark down. So if Nike products retail around $40 like you suggested, you could purchase them for about $20-$30, if that is more of your appropriate price range. As far as deals are concerned, outlet stores also offer sales but they tend to pop up sporadically so it's hard to anticipate when they will come. I do remember from personal experience that about a year ago i visited my local outlet store around the end of May and for some reason all these great deals were going on. Like my sister and I managed to see American Eagle bathing suit pieces for like five dollars!(we didn't buy them though) We also visited the Fossil outlet store and found real leather bags for forty dollars which was a steal considering they retail for a hundred to two hundred dollars. She didn't buy them either and regrets it now. So basically, you kind of have to be lucky. Also, when outlet stores start bringing stuff in for the new season, they will mark down even more the clothes they need to get rid of. So in between seasons is the perfect time to shop for clothes. So if you want to buy at Nike outlet, I would suggest you visit your local outlet mall's website (if they have one) and check their section that has their special offers listed and see if they are offering a sale or a coupon for Nike. If you are still looking for even cheaper Nike clothes, I suggest you also check out your local Ross,TJMaxx, or Marshall's store. I actually have been lucky enough to snag a pair of Nike running shorts for 15$ at Ross one time. But anyways, that is all the information I can offer you from what I know. Hope it helps!

Does anyone go to goodwill outlet?

I need to know they best days to go when I go on weekens thare nothing but junk I love going thare because I
like helping my friends when they have a baby on the way to help give the baby a head start on clothing because my friends don't have a lot of money and it's a lot of fun to look for stuff when you have nothing to do

I barely have any clothes. where should i start?

Dont go to hollister or abercrombie. Target has good clothes that are cheap. Steve and Barry's has everything under $9. Also, go to old navy. Dillards and some department stores are cheap. There'll be alot of back to school sales that'll help alot! Try Kohls. They always have sales.

I want to start retail garment shop in Bangalore. I need surplus branded garment. Can anyone help with this matter.?

As some one had already answered, Tirupur is the best place to buy garments if you are with plans in your mind to start a retail. Unbelievably, Tirupur stands to be the top notch when it comes to garments ever since the early 90’s (both branded and economical - I call it economical as the term non-branded could underestimate the quality of the products made by local garment companies there in Tirupur). As a Tirupurian staying in Bangalore, I could say that Tirupur could be your best call (when compared to Delhi and Surat which has equally standard manufacturers) while taking the distance and no-much-different-quality of the products into picture.Would love to help more with your consent if you could inbox me (clearly not in a cheap business motive). Just in case if you need some guidance.
