I Want To Paint My Risk Game Pieces To Be New Different Colors. Any Advice

I want to paint my Risk game pieces to be new, different colors. Any advice?

Specifically I'm looking for tips on a method to paint these fiddly little guys. I have acrylic paints but I'd be willing to buy others as long as it didn't break the bank (less than $30).

Advise on fixing up a horse trailer-specifically rust repair.?

I bought an older model two horse trailer that needs some work. Mainely it's cosmetic work but I've never done this before so any tips would be greatly appreciated. The floor is solid but the body needs a paint job and there is some rust damage. I've used a pressure washer and plan on going over it with a sander to remove as much of the loose paint as possible but what can I use to on the rust? There are some small holes that need patching. Also any advise on what type of paint to use and techniches on how to paint a trailer would be helpful. Thanks:)

What are some slang terms used among police officers?

The most derogatory terms for the bad guys and citizens who are just pains in the rectum:A.H. = Adam Henry (A-dam H-enry) If you don’t get it…..sometimes you will hear it as “Jack Hole”…..now what starts with an “A” that ends with HOLE ?RICHARD CRANIUM= What starts with a “D” and is a nickname for Richard ? What is the non-medical layman’s term for the Cranium ? Do these clues HEAD you in the right direction ?

What kind of paint can I use to color the dead corals and stone to be put in my aquarium.?

There are paints and dyes used for dying corals, however I would strongly suggest if you have a fresh water aquarium, do not add the corals and stone from the ocean. This will increase your PH to very high levels.

If you have a salt water aquarium, you can dye your corals however this isa long drawn out process. Even the dyes themselves are expensive. You would be better off with a polyresin coral purchased form the fish store.

How do I repaint doll eyes?

I have repainted eyes for many years, I use golden paints they are acrylic paints and for brown eyes it takes several strokes of different colors of brown to lighter yellows for highlights to the center and I use a Triple O paint brush, If you look closely at brown eyes ( look at your daughters and you will see all of the colors in the eyes) Make notes too, then I do my centers in black circle please note the colors on the outer edges. When that is dry while drying I keep the lids open with tooth picks so the paint does not smudge. Then I finish with several drops of Golden Varnish with UVLs high Gloss. let it dry and add again, dry a day in between.

I would never use finger nail polish because its way to thick and will not lay flat or be mixable for the colors of brown. It looks very wonderful when done. If you have questions please feel free to e-mail me.

You can not tell the difference between a eye that is already there, I have been doing this for years and it does not look like a painted eye either, The gloss is what gives the finish.

Cast iron skillet has uneven color?

When you look at the photos online you should know that those photos are edited to look 'perfect'. they do tend to be a little uneven, it's not a solid black that they get, at least not at first. And if your pan is newer, well, they take quite awhile before they get fully seasoned, sometimes years. But there will be variations in the finish.

edit: umm, there's no paint on a cast iron pan, and certainly not on the bottom of the pan.

edit 2: No you aren't doing anything wrong, it does take a bit. And yes there is a risk of rust - don't let it sit with water in it, do like you did and heat it up on the burner after rinsing. A suggestion I'd like to make - get some steel wool to scour the flat bottom of the pan after using. The steel wool acts like sandpaper and makes the bottom smoother and smoother over time - till the point where it's very flat and smooth. New pans that I've seen in the stores have a rougher flat surface. It can take a few years to get it nice and seasoned. That's the thing about cast iron, it's an investment, something you'll have all your life. I've got pans that are 30 years old.

And a cooking tip too, if you eat steak, it's excellent cooked in a cast iron pan - you can get the pan very hot, sear the steak but good and cook them nice and tender - better than any other pan you'll ever use.
