I Want To Picked Up Stamping Color. Can You Help Me

Why do smokers cast off their cigarette butts without stamping them out?

I used to smoke. I quit 13 years ago, cold turkey.

I never, not once threw a lit cigarette anywhere. But, I do know that many smokers do just flick their cigarettes onto the ground without a care in the world. Yes, they can start fires and they have!!

I was driving down the highway with my sunroof open and my car windows open as well. I smelled a cigarette followed by hair burning when I felt pain on my left shoulder. Someone threw out their cigarette from their car window and it got lodged between my seat and my shoulder. It burned my hair, burned threw my shirt and then to my skin. As I was driving, I tried to reach the cigarette with my right hand over my shoulder. Leaning forward caused the cig to roll down into the gap of my pants in the lower back area. The only thing I could do was grit my teeth while I grinded my back into the seat to put the cig out before it could burn me any longer. While doing so, I crashed into a rock formation on the side of the road.

Yup, all because some assaholic threw out their lit cig that blew into my car. My goodness, when will people begin thinking about what their actions cause to others??

Both Wires on light fixture I'm installing are the same color?

Yikes! Since every one ahead of me has gotten a TD I'm almost afraid to answer this one!
But here goes.
The neutral wire needs to go to the threaded lamp shell and the hot to the bottom tab. It will light up wired either way, and when the switch is off you would be safe when changing the bulb. The "danger" of having them reversed comes when changing the bulb while the switch is still on. If the hot wire is attached to the lamp shell and you should have one hand on the fixture and the other came in contact with the base of the lamp you could get shocked. Granted most of us turn the switch off anyway, but still.
If you have a meter that will test resistance or better still continuity, put one lead on the wire with the lettering and the other to the lamp shell. I'm pretty sure it will "ring out", if not try the other wire. Once you have determined which is the neutral, wire it up.
If you don't have a tester look and see if there is a cardboard tube around the socket that you can lift up and look at the wires. If not gently pry the top part of the socket loose from the bottom half in order to have a look.
I'm not sure why some fixtures come with wires the same color. Was it manufactured outside of the U.S.? Does it have a UL (Underwriters Lab) sticker on it anywhere?

Check the mode that you have selected on the toolbar, you probably have something else than the "normal" mode selected for the clone tool. Other modes will give you results that are dependent on the difference between the source and the target areas.

Blue is my go-to color.I use a lot of colors so I can differentiate between notes. I’m kind of an addictive note taker. And no, I’m no longer in school. Everything is written. To-do lists, ideas for articles and stories, agendas, tidbits I want to remember, quotes, parpagraphs and I’ve even written out whole articles to get the tone of a particular magazine before pitching.I love my fountain pens and keep one with black ink at all times and one with blue ink at all times. The blue is Levenger Cobalt Blue. The black is Cross. The hunt for the fountain ink blue that resembles the Bic blue in the crystal stick pen eludes me. That is, by far, my favorite blue.Oddly enough, green is my favorite color, but most greens I’ve tried annoy me. They just aren’t what I’m looking for….UNTIL, two days ago. I went to a craft store to check out some more colored pens like the Stabilo pens (I use these most in my planner so I can find what I’m looking for quickly). I decided to try one of the LePens. I bought the teal and I’m in love with that color. Not sure about the pen, but the color is awesome!Anyone reading this: If you are willing to share your favorite fountain pen ink colors I would love to hear them. If you happen to know one that looks like the Bic blue, please, please, please share.:)

Can you help me identify what this necklace is made of?

14k means that the piece is 14 karat gold. (if it were gold overlay then it would say 14k overlay or you'd be able to pick it up w/ a magnet)

as to whether or not it's white gold....what color is it? if it's a silver color then it's white gold, if it's a rosy color then it's rose gold, if it's yellow then it's gold.

Midas is the company that makes it. if the word is in fact "Turkey" then it was made in Turkey.

as for the green gemstone: not enough of a description as to what it is. it could be emerald, peridot, agate, jade, some type of quartz, or a man made stone of some sort. (most likely it's emerald or peridot)

1968 Franklin Mint Presidential Hall of Fame Coin Collection?

I have a Franklin Mint guide. However, they made a number of different presidential medals during this period. I need more information from you.

What, exactly, do the medals say on the backs? Each may have information about individuals; I don't need that. I need whatever is common to all medals.

What color do they appear to be? Silver or goldish/brownish? If it's the latter, they are bronze. If the former, they could be silver or aluminum. Take one out if you can, and judge the weight. A silver medal will have some weight to it, less than an ounce but noticeable. If it's aluminum it will weigh almost nothing.

If they are silver, look along the edges of one to see if anything is stamped into it. Not the outer parts of the two sides, but the circumference of the rim. If so, what, exactly, is stamped there?

This should allow me to identify exactly what you have.

One other thing. Are you certain there are 37 and not 36? Most of the listings show sets complete at 36 through Nixon, with Nixon being #36. Some, but not every one of the sets, issued updates for #37 Ford and #38 Carter. If there are 37, what is the one extra medal? Are there two for Cleveland?

Though Cleveland served two separate terms as #22 and #24 and Nixon was our 37th, most collectible sets, be they medals or trading cards, honor Cleveland's two terms on one item, making sets consist of 36 pieces, through Nixon.

According to Mars, the manufacturer, the 'm' is imprinted by a special printing machine as the 6th step of production:The single-colored batches are combined into the mixtures of red, yellow, blue, green, brown, and orange. They are then transported to the machine that stamps the "m" on the shells. A special conveyor belt carries the pieces to this machine. Each piece rests in its own indentation. The piece runs under rubber etch rollers that gently touch each candy to print the "m." This machine is specially designed to imprint the "m" without cracking the thin candy shell. The process used is similar to the off-set printing process. Approximately 2.6 million M&Ms' are transported to the etching machine per hour. One hundred million individual M&Ms® can be manufactured per day.[1]       Personally, I think there's an army of tiny, underpaid aliens who paint them on by hand. The ones who are rebelling against the repression paint them backwards or upside down as a display of their wrath.1. The Manufacturing Process

What determines the page that gets the stamp on your passport, when entering another country?Yes, it may be random choice or personal choice by the officer applying the stamp. It could also be that ALL inspectors of the country being entered, in some specific calendar period, are placing their stamps, turned NN degrees in a specific direction, in the XXX corner of page YY. Thus, future inspectors, who may look in the passport and find a stamp from that period that is placed differently, may take particular notice and verify the validity of the passport or visa, to catch fraudulently manufactured passports and stamping. This is sometimes accompanied by stamp pad ink that fluoresces in a particular color under IR or UV light.Or it may be that the official is trying to waste as little time as possible in finding the first, or any, open space to stamp your passport.
