I Want To See Dwaraka

I want to travel Gujarat (Dwarka-Somnath-Kutch). How should I plan my journey to be cost-effective?

Agree with Omkar Kamakar that it is tough to travel / cover both Saurashtra & Kutchh. There was an effort to connect Dwarka & Kutchh (Dwarka kutchh Ferries & Tourism pvt ltd) via ferry service but it halted due to one or other issue.I am just covering the places you mentioned….1> To Dwarka - Either you can take bus from Ahmedabad to Dwarika / Dwarka (there are plenty of GSRTC as well as private buses available. It can be covered overnight). Alternatively there are trains from most of the parts of India to Ookha which is running via Dwarka. You can travel in one of them.2> In Dwarka - One day you can cover Dwarkadhish temple, Nageshwar and other near by places. Second day you can plan your trip for Beyt Dwarka. You can refer to our Blog (Dwarka Calls) for further details at YatraDham BlogWe have very good options to book accommodation online in Dwarka and other YatraDham places in India, here is the link for Dwarka - YatraDham Destinations | Gujarat | Dwarka | Dharamshala BookingAll our listed places have affordable and very good rooms in good neighborhood, pure, fresh and homely food (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner) available.3> To & In Somnath - You can either stay in Dwarka for one more day, start early for Somnath. Have a Darshan and get back to Dwarka by night.Alternatively you can stay at Somnath and get your Bus / Train (Veraval) back to Ahmedabad / any other places. You will love to do Darshan of both Shri Krishna & Mahadev in both these places. These places are few of my favorites and yes being a part of https://YatraDham.Org team we do travel a lot at all these places to make sure that all our Yatri / Guests get best experience.More videos on these places on our Youtube channel -YatraDham.Org YouTube ChannelBreath in the Beat of Gujarat….

Can we visit dwaraka under water city?

Dwarka-The city of Lord Krishna. It is said that the city was built by Lord Krishna himself and he overlooked all the development and it was regarded as the 1st capital of Gujarat. After the death of Lord Krishna, this city is said to have been sunk into the sea due to floods…After many years of research, The Archaeological findings suggest the existence of a city 100s of years ago. However,it is not possible to visit the underground city as these are located deep down the sea.If you want to get a clue of all this you should visit Bet Dwarka. Bet Dwarka is considered as a part of the city which sank during the floods and most of the findings have been around this area.Bet Dwarka is probably the closest you can go to find the underground city..It also offers scuba diving and other under water activities.(on a lighter note, Scuba diving could get you some Archaeological items of ancient Dwarka\U0001f609)There has been constant research going on regarding the existence of Dwarka but as of now, you have to stay content by visiting Bet Dwarka and enjoying Scuba diving there..

Where do I get marijuana in Dwarka?

This may be the “prime directive” of effective spiritual practice, social action and peaceful living. Don’t let the behavior of others (who are actually an expression of our greater whole) destroy your inner peace. This is why the Dalai Lama meditates for several hours every day. It is why Mahatma Gandhi prayed and meditated daily. For those of us who wish to help bring greater peace to the world it’s important to stay balanced, mindful, calm and grounded. Especially in chaotic times like this, especially in the light of the tragic and terrible recent events in Orlando and elsewhere, we need to make our own inner peace a top priority.Imagine if you saw a group of people drowning in a fast-moving river. If you swim out alone to try to help save them you will drown too. Better to stay on dry land, tie some ropes to trees and then throw them out to help the others. If we did go in, it would be wise to have friends standing on dry land, and to tie a rope around ourselves before entering the dangerous waters

We 4 persons want to visit Somnath to Dwarka, which procedure is better for us?

A2AI don’t know what you mean by procedure, if you mean what is the best mode of travel from Somnath to Dwarka then I would say it depends mostly on your preference but most of the people who plan to visit both Somnath and Dwarka in a short time span start with Somnath by reaching there early in the morning and leave for Dwarka at night, convenient, fast and cheapest mode of travel is via Somnath-Okha Express which departs at around 10:30 pm from Somnath and reaches Dwarka at around 7:30 am.But if you have time and budget you can hire a car and travel by road, plan a halt at Porbandar and explore Porbandar and then leave for Dwarka. Also its kind of a coastal road so you can also visit some of the quietest, cleanest and most secluded beaches along your way, one of them is Bechtel Beach. Also if you have time do explore some places around Dwarka like Mithapur, Okha and Bet Dwarka.Happy Travelling!!

Why did Lord Krishna allow Dwaraka to get submerged?

Mausala Parva: Sixteenth book of Mahabharata:After the Kurukshetra war Lord Krishna meets Gandhari, In anger and grief over the death of her sons and the Kaurava soldiers, Gandhari curses Krishna with the death of all Yadavas in a manner similar to the death of her sons. She blames Krishna for his inaction and believes that he could have prevented the war and the slaughter of hundreds of millions people who died in the war. Krishna accepts the curse, explains how he had tried many times to mediate peace, how Duryodhana refused. He also explains how Duryodhana and the Kauravas had tried many times to kill the Pandavas. After ruling Dwaraka for 35 years,It was the curse of Gandhari which led to extinction of Yadava Dynasty ,submersion of Dwaraka under the sea and finally Lord Krishna Leaving the earth.

I am going to visit Dwarka (Gujarat) for 3 days on festival of Holi. Are there any tour for full Darshan of Dwarka?

That’s a great, that you are going to Dwarka for celebrating Holi. There are many local transporters available for Dwarka darshan. You can find them outside the main temple. Even if you are somewhere in Dwarka city, yet you can also find them.Generally, you can complete Dwarka darshan in one day. But if you want to explore Dwarka in detail tell your guide or local transporters about it. One more thing I want to say, if you want to feel the essence of the real Dawarka then choose to stay in Dharmashala rather than hotels.
