I Want To Start Making Videos For You Tube

How to start making good youtube videos?

For one, you can't be a YouTube partner until you're 18.
My camera is amazing, a Panasonic Lumix DMC-SZ7, $120.
Professional lighting DOES cost quite a bit of money, but you could always just use a lamp or film outside!
A tip for making videos is to just do whatever you want to do. Maybe write up some ideas for videos. Think of Jenna Marbles; she just talks about random things, but she's hilarious! If you want to do sketches like Smosh, I suggest getting some friends/family members to help you out.
The reason people like Smosh and Jenna Marbles got so popular so quickly is because they came up with a viral video idea (Smosh, Pokemon Lip Synch, Jenna Marbles, How to trick people...)
So what I'm getting at is to just make a video about what you would like to watch on YouTube. That's all.
Good luck!
P.S., post your channel, I'd love to see what you come up with!

How do I start making YouTube videos? What equipment is required?

I really dislike phones as primary video capture devices.  They have limited storage, poor optics with no image stabilization, and terrible audio.  On their plus side they're convenient, nearly everyone has a video capable phone these days making them ubiquitous, and most of the new ones have good sensors.  To make a phone a better platform for your YT vids, try these steps:1) Get a Tripod.  This will stabilize your shots, though the one I linked to here looks like garbage, but it's got 4.5 stars, so who knows.2) Get a basic plug in mic, be it a Lavalier Lapel Clip-on or a Shotgun Microphone, and that will improve your sound immensely.  You can get way fancy with mics, but that a discussion for another time.3) Use the back camera, not the front one.  You will wind up looking at your own face and not the lens if you use the front camera.  The lens in your audience, make eye contact with the lens.  Avoid the whole problem by using the better quality camera on the back of the phone.4) Better yet, use a Webcam plugged into your computer and avoid many of the pitfalls of a phone all together.  Then the camera has all the storage of your computer, you don't need to transfer the video or convert it, and you can still use your tripod and microphones.  Avoid using the computer's monitor as a tripod or you'll get stuck looking into your own eyes instead of the webcam's lens.5) Lighting.  Get yourself something to light your face, and don't sit with a window over your shoulder like this:It's perfect if you want to hide your identity, but bad for publicity. Then you just need editing software.  I've answered that question here on Quora too many times to count.  Here's the most recent one.Greg Wyatt's answer to As a Mac user, is Final Cut Pro the best video editing software for YouTube videos or is there other software that works best for this purpose? If I were in your shoes just starting out, I'd try Resolve, Premiere, and Vegas all for free, then pick the one I liked the most and stick with it.  If you don't feel like jumping into a professional program, try the basic ones first: Windows Movie Maker for your Windows computer and iMovie for your Mac.Good luck!

When/Why did youtube start making us to watch 2 ads before the real video? I've noticed this recently.?

Not sure exactly when it started but its very annoying, specially when your watching a video n it cuts right out to the ads

How do you make YouTube videos?

This is how I started:I went to YouTube and I researched how to edit in iMovie (free video editing app for Mac) and how to shoot video using a dslr camera.I shot the video with my sisters camera and I recorded my voice with a Blue Snowball Mic that went to my laptop using Quicktime.I brought in the footage and the audio into iMovie and I synced them together. (The camera’s mic sucks, don't use it.)I edited the video, exported it, and uploaded it to YouTube. This video is now private and I will never let anyone see it because it sucks big time. Since then, my whole process has evolved and I’ve gotten considerably better. If you want to know more about getting started with video, check out Wistia’s tutorials: Wistia Library | WistiaYour first videos are not going to be good, but if you keep doing it and you keep on learning, YOU WILL GET BETTER.You can also check out my YouTube channel where I teach you how to produce better video: Marcos RochaLastly, you should imitate YouTubers that reflect your style and personality. Don't try to be someone you are not because it will come off unauthentic. However, you will have to imitate A LOT at the begging because you have no idea what you are doing. Originality and personal style only come after you’ve done MANY videos. I have been doing video for 3 years or so and I am still striving to be myself on camera.

I want to start a Youtube channel?

Hi guys, so I started a youtube channel recently however I am way too shy and have confidence issues to carry it on. I did upload a video which only gained 10-12 views but deleted it soon after. I am just really scared if people in my school find out I have a Youtube channel as they would most likely make fun of me, even my friends laughed and thought it was a stupid idea when I first mentioned it to them. I really want to do this as in that brief video I filmed which I later deleted, I realised I had so much fun recording, editing and even just picking out background music. I've made so many videos which I don't have the nerve to upload and the only thing holding me back are stupid people in my school and my friends negativity towards everything. I don't know, but making them makes me happy and I just don't know what to do. Please help :)

If I make a YouTube video talking about a video game or reading a book Is it copyright infringement?

No. Just make sure the owners get credit for the product
