My best adavice to you would be to research everything. I am a stay at home mom now as well, only because I did my research. I started my business in November and quit my fulltime job in April. Yes it cost you to start up but you make all that back in 2 parties. I love what I do, I love the fact that I can work when I want, be my own boss, have more time with the family and best of all I have fun, I help woman and couples and make great money. I want to start my own business selling video games?
So i started selling video games new and used on amazon by going to local pawn shops, goodwills, thrift stores, and who ever sell video games without knowing the value of alot of the things they are selling. I make a good amount of money as pocket money on it as a college student but nothing that would be possible to live off of. ($150 a week if i keep my nose on the grind) I have ideas of going to places and rent out a place and hold local video games tournaments for probably like $7 per entry but i don't know where to start or who to go to. I have alot of games and would think that a local bar/club type place on a weekday afternoon wouldn't mind being paid a certain amount of money per hour in order to host this type of event. I just don't know where to start. my dad owns a business selling beauty supply products and hes what made me start doing amazon. I helped him make his amazon account and he makes a couple thousands per period (about 2 weeks) and hess sooooo technologically behind that i basically put his entire store on amazon and put prices and specials and all that so now i want to do that for myself. were could i go to hold local video game tournys should i start my own website selling games is it a good idea to go around my college saying that my "company" is willing to buy their videogames and in like a craigslist fashion is willing to meet with them to buy their games from them.

I hate my job, I want to start my own business but my parents won’t support it. I don’t know what to do?
I’m a substitute teacher and I absolutely hate my job. I don’t like kids and I don’t like being around them. When I go to the restroom for 5 minutes I came back to find my stuff stolen. Also I have had bad experiences at every school but especially the little kids. I even had one school tell me not to come back because I have poor management of the classroom. The older kids will call you a B*** and the younger ones will cry and fight each other. I do my best but the kids are back and don’t respect the classroom, their peers, no one! I’m 26 I have a degree in communications my passion is makeup and writing my dream is to work for a fashion magazine but I would also love to create my own business or blog. I’m only subbing to make my parents happy so I don’t get kicked out. I don’t even make a lot of money As long as I’m out the house doing something there happen but if I decide to start working on my business like I told my dad he said I can’t do an at home job.
