I Want To Use My Headphones For Commentary

How do I use a wireless headset to record commentary with the Elgato game capture card?

I personally have had the same issue. The answer is yes. In call of duty you need to ender game chat, mute everyone, click the Xbox button on your controller, go all the way to the right and select preferences/settings, then voice and change the setting to headset and tv for the audio output. Once you being to record the footage you should be now to hear you own voice, try testing it before you make a full video!

How to use headphones with my computer?

1. you shouldn't need a driver.
2. yeah the green port is for headphones or it may have a indentation of a head phone.
3. Like that one guy said go to control panel or what I do is go to your lower right of the desktop on the tool bar. you will see a speaker looking icon. You may have more than one. Right click each one until you get one that has four options. they are; open volume mixer, play back devices, record div ices, and sounds.

Click the play-back devices. You will have a list of items. right click any of the items and make sure there is a check on, "show disabled div ices" and " show disconnected div ices". Now disable each item with the head set in. then one by one enable each one while you make sure only one is enabled. every time you enable and disable and item close and reopen windows media player(or what ever you are using) to set the new configurations.

If that don't work there is a lot more things you can do. I can't list them all. well atless you have one way to debug.

Although I have and like many headphones, I seem to always pick my upgraded and modified Sennheiser HD580/600 set. I bought the HD580 many years ago and since then replaced the drivers with new HD600 (almost exactly the same with minor increase in high and midrange definition), new wiring (larger gauge - double - with less strands resulted in better air, sound stage and bass depth), HD650 head band pad (slightly more comfortable), replaced the plastic back with the metal back from the HD600 (no noticeable difference - just lookes better). Modifications were perforating the white material behind the driver with 2x 1.5mm holes each, and placing a spacer (with other modifications) that moved the speaker units back (away from the ear) by 3 mm (this could easily be done with thicker ear cushions, but that will also increase the coupling chamber sound absorption.Did all the modifying make a big difference? Maybe and maybe not! I think so, but since I cannot do an A-B comparison I cannot absolutely say one way or the other. I have to leave it to my biased preference which is currently to the modified version per descriptions above (probably due to time investment and pride!).Why do I use these? Because out of all my headphones these seem to sound the best, and secondly, and possibly more importantly, because I have them!If I had an HD800 S or some other - better - headphone I would most likely use those more often but my updated and modified HD580 / 600 get me where I want to be and allow me to thoroughly enjoy the music. There are better headphones, but I am don’t think they are better enough to pay several hundred dollars to get the small improvement that those might provide. It’s really all about the music.

What Turtle Beach headset can I use to make game commentaries?

So I really want to start game commentaries, but I don't want to buy the headset, microphone, and all that kinda stuff separate, because I find it annoying. So I was wondering if there is some product from Turtle Beach I can use to record audio so I can record my voice and such. Please only suggest things that can be used for a MAC, as that is the only gaming console I use. Not really picky about the price, just not something unreasonable like 190USD or something like that. I was thinking something like the Ear ForceZ6A or something like that, but I want to make sure before I buy.

How can I use my wireless headphone for my Vizio HDTV?

I just bought a refurbished 32" Vizio HDTV model # M320NV. I want to use my wireless headphones (RCA WHP141) with it. It connects with a 3.5mm jack. I connect it but I'm still hearing sound from my HDTV. I know my wireless headphone works as I've used it before with my laptop. Is there something wrong with my TV or do I need to do something with the settings? Thanks for the help!

Good headset for recording commentary videos?

I am recording videos(one has a few hundred views and has only been advertised on my own site) and want to add commentary to them soon. The problem is that the headset i have is fine for hearing through, but is terrible at recording voice and you can hear any back-round noise. I need a headset for pc, which is good at recording your voice without picking up too much back-round noise. I do not want to pay a few hundred dollars for a headset, though if it works great, i could pay up to around $100.00.

As others have noted, with a few exceptions, the headphone out jacks on guitar amps don't emulate the sound of your speaker, so what you get in your headphones is pretty clinical, at best. There are some amps these days that include speaker emulation in their headphone outs. I think most of the Roland Cube series have this feature. Another option is to use a guitar/computer digital interface. I have an old Line6 TonePort UX2 (they rebranded it POD Studio, at some point) with an excellent headphone out and lots of amp/cab/mic models that is perfect for practice and, even, near-silent recording. I used to practice and record a lot in the dead of the night with this thing, while my wife and infant son slept. But this requires a computer and a free USB port, so it might not be what you're looking for. As another offbeat option, my Digitech JamMan Studio has, in addition to its looping abilities, a dedicated headphone out, along with volume controls for the instrument and loop. And it's perfectly good for practicing (and you can run the rest of your pedals into it, to shape your sound). It's not as versital as the Line6, but it's still pretty solid, and it keeps you from having to get a laptop involved (which I prefer to avoid).Guitar Center has a category for headphone amps:http://m.guitarcenter.com/Catego...

Whats the best headset mic for recording Lets Play commentary?

Im planning on starting up a Lets Play series and was wondering what headset mic would be the best. I was going to be using Roxio to record video so i cant do live commentary with that, so i was going to record audio separately on my laptop, so i need to be able to plug them into my computer. Also, i dont want the headphones to drown out outside audio too much so i can still hear the TV. as i probably wont be able to plug the mic into my computer and the incoming audio into the device at the same time. Also, the mic only picking up my voice and not the sound from the TV would be great.

Thanks!

You must specify in your question wheather you want to stream your game live on youtube or just want to record the gameplays. Anyway i will tell you the both ways. There are plenty of software you can use for commentary while playing games. Here are some of the best according to my experience…RAZER CORTEX: GAMECASTER (FOR LIVE STREAM AND RECORDING)BANDICAM (ONLY RECORDING)XSPLIT (LIVE STREAM AND RECORDING)All the above softwares works almost same way.First of all, download and install any of the above software. Now run it.Every software has some hotkey associated to start and pause the recording. If you want to record your own voice during the gameplay just select the microphone sound in settingsminimize the software and run the game whatever you want to play.now press the hotkey and recording will starts.you can play your games and do commentary simultaneously. “ENJOY”if you need any help just let me know in the comment section.
