Strep Throat? or Throat cancer?
Hi, im a 20 yr old male, non smoker, about 2 weeks ago I got a cold that last a week, then It went away. About a week later (6 days ago) I woke up with a weir numb feeling in my throat, which a day later turned into a sore throat. Then about a day later that pain migrated a little lower, it was like in the very base of the throat. I noticed white/yellow-ish spots on the back of my throat. I also developed a cough. No fever, no headaches, no runny nose. I took dayquil, cough drops, vitamin c but nothing seems to put down the mild throat pain. Its been 6 days today since the pain started and Im a little worried that it could be a throat cancer. I will go see a doctor but it will take about 2-3 weeks before I can see him, I would just like to know whats up with my throat now.
Bloating, cramping after stomach flu?
It's been a month since I had bad stomach cramps in upper and lower stomach, as well as feeling very tired during the day even with the good night's sleep. Now I just have this bloating feel to my lower stomach. It's very centered all around, and no sharp pains or anything on either side. It's all much more annoying than painful. I am NOT vomiting, no headache, no fever I'm aware of. My appetite has diminished, but I am eating when I should and I'm keeping it all down fine. My stomach also feel like its growling alot. What could this be? If it weren't for my stomach feeling so bloated and swollen, I be fine.
Why does the roof of my mouth hurt after a long night of drinking?
I drank quite a bit of wine the other night and woke up the next afternoon with an incredible hangover. Normally I get cramps in my legs, rapid heart beat, fatigue and weakness. This time though (and one other time I can remember a few years ago) the roof of my mouth is extremely sore, but only when I eat. Looking in a mirror I don't see anything obviously wrong with the roof of my mouth, but brushing my tongue on it proves that it's a little sore. Anyone have any idea what causes this? And is there any remedy?
