I Was Just Given A Kitten Approx 5 Weeks Old Who Appears To Have A Dislocated Shoulder.

Was Trump right when he called the Canadian Health System "catastrophic"?

Here is a direct comparison between US Health Care and Canadian Health CareNovember 2014 I was setting up for a trade show in Charlotte, NC … I experienced some questionable chest pains. Show promoter called the paramedics … they said i was symptomatic of a heart attack and took me straight to the nearest hospital. Where I sat. And I sat. And I sat. The first person I saw was from billing as they couldn’t get hold of my insurance (not sure they even tried) and wanted my credit card information before I saw a dr. The dr turned around and said that they wanted to do ‘xyz’ tests but as they couldn’t get hold of my insurance, they just told me to take aspirin and discharged me. At $150/month, I finally paid off that bill in November 2017. Now remember, aside from the ambulance and a couple of minutes with the dr there was NO treatment -and I was dinged $5400 USD.December 03, 2017 - at my home in Canada. Straight after Sunday dinner I was feeling off. My mother took my pulse and suggested we call the paramedics. This was approximately 5 PM. We live about 20 minutes from the city regular driving. The paramedics were there by 5:10 - and they strapped on the leads. They stated that I was not having a heart attack at that point but needed to go to ER to get a full work up. They pumped me with Vasodilators and took me to the hospital. As I was not coding, they went st regular speed. A few blocks away from the hospital it felt like someone jumped on my chest and I coded, and they went in hot. The ER physician came to the ambulance with clot busters and told the paramedics to take me to the next hospital as the cath lab was available. I was in OR getting 3 stents put in by 6:00 pm, and it turns out that I had 3 coronary arteries at 90+% blockage. Three days later I was discharged. Now … the care I received in Canada. Ambulance/Paramedics, 3 Stents through the arm with micro surgery, 3 days in cardiac care unit, 4 follow up cardiologist appointments, gp appointment to coordinate continuing care, psych and psychologist appointments, gastroenterologist appointments (and having a camera rammed down my throat), pulmonologist appointments and sleep study, and 3months worth of meds. (The meds themselves would be $4500 in the US minimum) total cost to me $750 USD.

What is cost for Hip Replacement Surgery in India?

Hi,Before we get into the cost of the hip replacements, we must know there are two types of hip replacement:Total hip replacementBilateral hip replacementIt is important to know the type not only because the costs are different for the two but also for your own knowledge and understanding of your hip pain. The cost of a total hip replacement surgery in India is USD 5,700. Whereas the cost of a bilateral hip replacement is USD 10,000.ProceduresIn total hip replacement surgery, the hip bone of one side is replaced by the metallic hip implant. It looks like this:So, there is an artificial socket which is first put in the place of the joint. Then after covering it with a plastic liner (to prevent friction), the artificial implant is put in it. The femoral head helps to move the hip joint just like it used to function with the original one.In case of bilateral hip replacement, both the joints of the hip are replaced. Here’s a picture that sums it up:Why would you require hip replacement?Osteoarthritis, known as wear-and-tear arthritis is a degenerative joint disease that is seen with aging, congenital abnormality of the hip joint, or prior trauma to the hip-joint. It occurs when cartilage present on the end of the bone begins wearing away, leading to pain and stiffness. When the cartilage wears off completely, the bones rub directly against each other causing decreased mobility and chronic painRheumatoid arthritis is an autoimmune disease, in which the synovial membrane becomes inflamed. This membrane then produces excessive synovial fluid, damaging the articular cartilage.Traumatic arthritis results from a serious hip injury or fracture. The articular cartilage becomes damaged and, over time, causes hip pain and stiffness.Osteonecrosis. If there is inadequate blood supply to the ball portion of the hip joint, the bone may collapse and deform.Hip fracture, broken hips, types of hip conditions that had appeared in childhood such as developmental dysplasia, congenital dislocation of hip and Perthes disease can also lead to degeneration many years after an injury and require the need for hip replacement surgery. But before going for a hip replacement surgery you should also check the best hospitals and skilled doctors so that your hip replacement turns out to be successful.Hope this answer helps you.Thanks.

How many motorcycle accidents have you been in?

I consider myself very fortunate that in 36 years of riding I have only been involved in two motorcycle accidents. The first one I was riding an old 2 stroke water cooled Suzuki GT750 water buffalo. I had bought it used and in checking it over and replacing what I needed to I neglected to inspect the oil pickup tube. 3 months later it collapsed on me going down the highway at 80 miles an hour and the entire drivetrain, including the back tire, locked up on me.Needless to say I lost control of the bike & went for a wild 300+ ft slide down the side of the road. Fortunately I was wearing chaps and a jacket but I came away with a lot of scrapes and scratches where I wore through them. Aside from being covered in bruises and moving rather carefully for the better part of two weeks I came through it pretty good. Unfortunately the bike was a total and complete loss. The second time was somewhat minor as I was rear-ended while sitting at a stop sign buy some moron in a cage behind me who didn't think to look twice. A few bumps and bruises and then couple hundred dollars later the bike and I were fine. The second one was 15 years ago and fortunately I haven't been in one since. But I credit my lack of serious injury by riding ATGATT. (All the gear all the time).
