I Was Molested At Age 6 Then At Age 11-13 What Should I Do

Can you forget about being molested?

It really depends on what age you were if this happened. If you were really young like 4-6 chances are you'd barely remember. It also depends on the type and the longevity of the act. If it happened constantly then chances are you're most likely to remember the act throughout your life.
Also if you bottle up and repress the feelings and memories then you'll most likely have even more trouble throughout life. If this has happened it's best to let it all out through therapy or some sort of counseling.
It is also highly possible to forget about it ever happening to begin with.

I molested my younger cousin and im ashamed.?

Me and her are very close now. I see her multiple times each week. Honestly its like it never happened. And i have finished puberty so hormones are gone. I am 14 now she is 7. nothing is wrong with our relationship and it only happened a few times. but i am never doing it to her again. She loves me and looks up to me and i am a failure to her. i just want her to know what i did was wrong and it will never happen again and it should have never happened. Hopefully we will becomne closer cause we are un seperateable now and nothing like that will ever happen, i was a stupid 12 year old with hormones racing like nascar. next time i see her i will apalogize and we will play hide and seek like we always do.

Teenage girl trying to dress modestly?

I'm a fifteen year old girl, maybe that qualifies as a young woman, I guess. I've been starting to go to youth group with my best friend who invited me and I really enjoy it. I love worshiping God, following Jesus, etc. I'm a Christian, have been since I was baptized as a baby, went to Sunday School when I was little, etc. I've been reading the Bible and I came across a few lines in Corinthians about women covering their heads during prayer, and in other chapters about modesty. My mom calls herself a Catholic, but when I told her about my desire to follow God's will and dress modestly, etc. she completely mocked me for it. Said I'd look like a Muslim if I covered my head, asked me why I need to dress modest anyway, I'd be dressing like a guy if I covered myself, I don't need to follow the Bible since it's 2000 years old etc. My mom bought me a white scarf/veil to wear when I pray at home or say the rosary, but won't let me wear it in public or even at Church. I haven't even told my dad yet of my want to dress modestly and so on because I'm worried he'll have the same reaction. Should I tell him? Should I cover my head in public and dress modestly? If I were then what should I wear? I'm wearing a t-shirt with long sleeves underneath and a pair of plain jeans right now. Are jeans immodest or sinful for a woman to wear? If any Christian women would share their thoughts on my predicament, or Christian men, please do. (Or any other religion really) Thank you and God bless.

Do you personally know someone in prison? Why were they arrested?

plea Treadway Leesburg molestationYep, this news article pretty much explains it. His daughter was on my baton team and we were aquaintences, and they (like most people) knew me pretty well because I'd won the pageant our baton studio hosts as well as another one that year. The creepiest part? He hugged me and other children pretty frequently (every time I saw him), but we didn't mind because he was that one cool teacher (well not really a teacher but a teacher’s aid.) Now I know his intentions weren't so innocent. After the incident, his daughter disappeared from the school- her and her mom had vanished for understandable reasons. Also, my classroom was by the entrance of the school, and we played in the fenced-in courtyard in the front of the school quite often. One day we were playing outside and all of a sudden, we hear our teacher yelling at us to get inside, and I remember her voice sounding scared and shaky. We all ran inside and she explained it to us that there was a man hiding behind a tree outside the fence watching us. She called the office and they had the SRO go out there. Turns out it was a news channel wanting to get video of us for their report on the man’s arrest without telling anyone at the school. It was the same news station that wrote the article that I mentioned earlier. Also from my *lovely* elementary school:Elementary teacher suspended, accused of being high on drugs...Lake County mother says school isn't doing enough to help...Fourth instance of a weapon at school“For the fourth time in about two weeks, a student has been found on a Lake County school campus with a weapon. On Wednesday, Timothy A. Jones Jr., 12, was charged with possession of a weapon on campus and possession of marijuana after officials at Treadway Elementary School in Leesburg said they found a pellet gun and the drugs on him in a classroom. According to an arrest affidavit, a student tipped off school officials that Jones had marijuana in his possession. The principal went to his classroom…”

If you strive to be a good person and try your best to be kind, but you don’t believe in God, is there still a chance to go to heaven?

If you strive to be a good person and try your best to be kind, but you don’t believe in God, is there still a chance to go to heaven? In most religious mythologies the one unforgivable “sin” is when someone does not believe in that god or gods.If someone does not believe in a particular god or gods it makes the religion not be self replicating, and causes there to be less money for the church coffers. The opposite is actually true in many religions. You can be a terrible person. Rape, molestation, murder, racism, slavery, all are forgivable. If you engage in these behaviors throughout your entire life and at your deathbed accept the mythology and ask to be forgiven, you will be forgiven and get all the rewards of a person who has followed the belief system for their entire lives. If however you are a wonderful person who gives to charity, cares for people, never breaks a law, and cures cancer BUT you don’t find that their is enough evidence to warrant belief in a god or gods then you don’t get the rewards that that mythology promises.
