I don't think you should watch this film yet.There are too many innappropiate things for a young individual such as yourself.There is people inhaling cocaine.There are prostitutes.There are orgies.There are criminals.This film is heavy for a young mind.I think you should watch the film Shorts written and directed by Robert Rodriguez. This film is very creative and really funny.I think you would enjoy it.I also recommend the film "Pee Wee Holiday" currently available on Netflix.Be happy and watch funny and happy things.There is going to be plenty of time later in life to watch extremely horrible things like "The Babadook"I could not sleep for two weeks after watching that extremely creepy horror film.Have some fun with the Gremlins and the Goonies, young man.

I've always considered watching it but never thought I'd understand it. I've always wanted to be a part of discussion with my friends about the movie. Will I understand it? Is "The Wolf of Wall Street" worth watching?
Worth watching? Well, let's see it's one of my favorite films of all time does that qualify? This movie was incredible in my opinion. This is by far di caprio's best performance, and it's not even close. Which is truly saying something given how many great performances di caprio has given. The movie is electrifying, and let me tell you about this man by the name of matthew mccounaughey. He is in the movie about 15 minutes, but he just steals the shows when on screen. You'll see what I mean. Di Caprio literally kills this role. He doesn't just give a great dramatic performance, but he is also HILARIOUS in this film! I mean there is one scene and I won't spoil it for you, but it was Jim Carrey-esque. Was laugh out loud funny! Jonah hill and Margot robbie were both great. It's difficult to find a better performance than di caprio in this film. He literally hits all notes from comedy to drama. From rage to happiness. It's a great movie, and it is without a question worth a watch. EDIT: D are you being serious? This wasn't a strong year in movies?!! 12 years a slave, gravity, dallas buyers club, her, prisoners, Nebraska, american hustle, captain phillips, This one of the strongest years of film in a VERY long time. TWOWS would have won last year, the year before, etc. Only because this year was so strong it won't.

A complete study in people who had more money than common sense, but were smart (for a time). The story is great, the acting is great, the sets are great...you get the point.In short words, no actor would have fit the role of the protagonist better. The movie works its way through your subconscious, making you feel hopeful when the protagonist first gets to Wall Street, admiration when he confidently lands his first client trading penny stocks, and despair when his world comes tumbling down in the end. There's no fear in this film and it is a gripping take on life inside the world of rich people who came from the ground. Definitely a 10/10

I just watched "The Wolf of Wall Street". Do people who work on Wall Street really live that kind of a lavish lifestyle?
obviously there are some examples of excesses. But don't take these people's responses too seriously. I would guess that the vast vast majority of "high finance" professionals simply have a desire to become wealthy so as to provide financial resources for themselves and their families and they also get a little ego kick from the whole thing. Most finance professionals are actually a bit nerdy and overly educated. The Wolf of Wall Street is another Hollywood flick pandering to the imaginations of the average person not in finance.
