I Weight 155 And I Wanna Be 125 By Next Year

I'm a 16 year old guy who weighs 87 kg. I want to lose weight. What should I do?

I know that feeling. I myself was overweight and started working out at 17. Its been 2 years since then and i’m in a very good shape now.Back to your question. The whole process of weight loss consists of 2 steps.1)DIETPeople panic and stop eating at all. Don’t do that. You have to keep your metabolism high to lose fat, this being the main reason why you have been seeing less changes as compared to your workout should provide.Eat only complex carbs (slow digesting). This will keep your hunger satisfied for longer time and release energy slowly throughout the day. You can eat oats, brown bread, bananas, brown rice, whole wheat pasta etc. Avoid sugary drinks and foods, this includes all kinds of cold drinks (except diet cokes and drinks) and fast foods.Eat food rich in protein. As you already know protein helps in muscle building.30 minutes prior to your workout, mix 1–2 spoons of coffee in 1 glass of warm water and drink it. This will help you in burning some extra calories during your workout. Make sure you drink enough water throughout the day (3–5 liters)Don’t try to limit your calories for now. First make a habit of eating clean. Then gradually start reducing 150–300 calories per week from your diet.2)WORKOUTYou have to keep your heart-rate high throughout your entire workout. So don’t sit for long, don’t focus on your strength for now, don’t think about how much weight you’re lifting as your prime goal is to lose fat (building muscles will be the next task after you shed that unwanted fat from your body), just make sure to complete your entire workout (weight-lifting) in 50–60 mins with max 1 min gap between each set. Secondly, focus more on your cardio and do high intensity cardio. If you can sprint on the trademills, do that, and if you can’t, use cross-trainer. I personally find it easier to burn more calories on cross-trainer than any other machine. Now don’t hang on to the cross-trainer for 15 mins. Instead do intense cardio with high inclination and resistance on cross-trainer for 5 mins, and repeat this 3 times.Hope it helps..

I'm 10 years old, but 130 pounds. Am I overweight or fat?

I would not do drastic changes without consulting a doctor. That said, if you are overweight, it means your current diet is not optimal for your body. There are a few changes you can do that are very safe and easy. You don't provide much detail in your post, so I can only make assumptions.First, what do you normally drink? I know at your age I drank lots of sodas. One single can of soda has more sugar than an adult male should consume in an entire day. All the extra sugar just gets stored as fat. Consider drinking water instead. Not juice, not diet soda, just plain water.I also had candy and desert every chance I got. Consider skipping the desert or having some fruit instead. Many kids avoid vegetables. I know kids that have never had a salad until they were 20. Ideally one should eat vegetables in every single meal. Those are weight loss 101 tips. Those are low risk things you can do. No doctor will advice against those things. What you don't want to do is stop eating and starve yourself to lose weight. Not only it's not effective, but it is flat out dangerous. This is really where you want professional help. You are about to go through puberty, this makes it very easy for you to slim down, but you do need to improve your habits.Losing weight and keeping it off is hard work. It will mean permanent changes to your lifestyle. Changing any habit is hard work. You might read the advice above and think it would be to hard to do. The good news is that you get used to it. If you were to start today, a month from now it would be second nature to you.

I weigh 137 lbs and Im 5'8. Im an 18 year old girl who has always been self-conscious.?

At 5'8 your ideal weight would be 140 lbs so your weight is excellent.

I am 15 years old, I am around 174cm (5'7''), and I weigh 55kgs(125lbs). How can I gain some weight?

I am really skinny and I want to gain some weight and muscles. I would like to have bigger biceps/triceps and bigger chest. Also, bigger waist wouldn't be bad Can someone recommend me an exercise plan and tell me what should I eat, so I'd gain some weight?
I eat everything, even when I eat a lot I don't gain almost any weight.

But, I'm asking this now because I've heard somewhere that exercising while I'm growing can cause slower gain in height. Is that true, and should I wait with exercising until I'm older and stop growing so I'd be taller?

Cheers.

Im 23 years old, male, and weigh only 125 pounds. How can i gain weight really fast and not loose it?

Hi there. I am 23 years old, 125 pounds, and ive always been a really skinny guy who cant seem to gain weight very fast, or even at all. Im 6'1, and for my height, i should like 155 or something. I eat constantly, and im not starving myself what so ever. Ive tried increasing my food intake, but that never seemed to work. Its like my body is at a set weight limit or something but i know there is something i can do about this. Maybe im not on the right diet for gaining weight. I really hate being small now, though im not weak at all. Though my body frame makes people think other wise. So does anyone know how i can possibly gain weight really quick and what foods, ect. could help? Increase calories, protein...? Im clueless to what to eat regarding this situation, if food is even the issue. I feel i am too small for my age and height. Ive been skinny all my life, but like i said, i know something can be done. I just dont know what is. So can anyone help me?

Im 125 pounds, im a girl,17 years old,5"7" is that a normal weight??

yea i think so im 123 pounds and is 5"3 so I think this is normal you know you could probably be a model

I am 5"4 weighing 153 pounds i want to be 125 pounds in 7 months. How many calories should i eat per day?

Do not eat any fewer than 1200-1500 calories, or your body will go into starvation mode. I know people will disagree with this, but it is more about what you eat, not how much. TONS of fruits and veggies, lean protein, a few whole grains.

I would also up your visits to the gym to at least 5 a week. And exercise INTENSE!! The more intensly you work out the better your results.
