Does Disney World drug test?
I Just got hired at Magic Kingdom as a Merchandise/Sales position. So far...I didn't have to pee in a cup or anything (which is really weird...you would think they drug test...) I'm not worried if they did drug test, but I was just wondering. I know that they finger print you..(that's what I have to do when I go to casting this Monday)

Yes, it sounds like you have the job. The drug tests (urine test) cost money, so usually aren't done until they are fairly sure you are going to be hired. If they are asking for your for your SS card and ID then they are getting ready to have you fill out paperwork. This is usually the final stages before you start work. Dress business casual - Collared shirt, nice slacks and good looking shoes.
Interview at a hotel?!drug test?!what should i do???;?
Okay,I recently went to apply for various jobs and found one. So I go for the interview soon.I know I most likely have to take a drug test....So my back molar tooth has been hurting severely to the point where I can feel it thumping in my head.I don't have any money to get it pulled out(of course I am out of a job)so,the little money I do get go to living expenses.ughh,it is so stressful.So,my boyfriend gave me a vicodin from when he went to get his tooth pulled out.(he's a lucky guy with best work insurance!)wish it were me:,( I was half way asleep and took half of it.I am not a drug user by any means.but now I am freaking out because when I go maybe today or tomorrow,I might have to take a drug test.Should I be honest and tell them the truth?please help,I really don't know what to do:( thanks by the way its a front desk job at a hotel
How likely is a hair drug test for pre-employment?
It becoming increasingly popular over the past few years. Its extremely difficult to pinpoint which companies will ask for which kind of test. I have had two experiences with pre-employment hair tests. The first was with a fortune 100 company (2013). I kicked butt in the interviews and it was such an awesome fit mutually. Then I got my 'conditional job offer' that explained I needed to pass a background and drug test. I thought hey, no problem. I can pass a pee test. So I kept reading until I reached the bottom and read HAIR FOLLICLE TEST. My jaw dropped.I combed through the internet for hair detox frantically, jaw still dragging the floor. I spent probably about $150 on a few different detox products. I followed the direction of at least 2 detoxes to the T. When I showed up at Quest Diagnostics, the lady said my hair on my head was too short and they would take it from my chest. A few days later, I get a call from Quest explaining I popped for THC. And a few minutes later, fortune 100 called and withdrew their offer. I was crushed and still think about how my life would be different.The second time was completely unexpected. I found a position within medical warehouse operations (2015). Basically just pulling orders for hospital goods, and not paying that much at all! Because it was not paying very much, the last thing I expected was a hair test. So the next day after reading which test I would be subjected to, I called and told them I found employment elsewhere.Bottom line, you wont know which companies are executing which tests. If you looking for a job, especially a good one, just stay clean for 3 months.
Does price chopper drug test to be a cashier?
I just started working there on Wednesday. I went through orientation and I've been working for four days, and they haven't mentioned a drug test. It's safe to assume at this point that, no, they will not. Usually they will ask for one right after they hire you (my old job at the gideon putnam hotel had drug tests, and before I started, they had me take one. They get the results same day or next day depending on the place they have do them as well). Be aware, however, that once hired, your store has the right to randomly decide to do drug tests. You have every right to say no to this, and you may be fired for refusing. Do the easy thing: Don't do any drugs. There's honestly no point and if you need something to make you feel good, you're pathetic
Got a 2nd interview at Chick-Fil-A. Does that mean I'll most likely get the job?
I went in for an interview tuesday. I'm 19 and it was my 1st ever interview and just my luck It was with the operator that owned the building. It was awkward but I think it went well besides 2 questions I had difficulty answering. He scheduled me for a 2nd interview on the 4th of July. Is this normal? Will I most likely be getting the job or should I not get my hopes up?
Do Security Guards Get Drug Tested?
Looking at becoming a security guard, but I can't seem to find much regarding this. I smoke marijuana fairly frequently, so I am just wondering if I got a job as a security guard, can they drug test me? Obviously all places are different so high-end places I would assume would drug test. But I'm talking about if I got a position in a hotel or airport. Also, if they do get drug tested, would it be at random intervals, or would I know in advance? Cheers
