Why is my bruise turning from blue to red? Should I be worried?
It shouldn't turn red. That means it could've been rebruised, causing blood to rush to the area. This is blood leaking again to the area. You should see a doctor.Usually from blue, it would turn greenish. This is the first stage and first indication that the bruise is starting to heal. The red blood cells as they are broken down release hemoglobin. This is broken down and converted into biliverdin which changes the bruise colour to be greenish around the edges.It would then shift to yellowish. Spirits pen marks left on arm when we wake up in the morning?
last Thursday my boyfriend and i was staying at my parents and his washed the night before bed and we shut the bedroom door as normal and slept. The next morning he woke with about 7-8cm lines of black biro pen on his right arm, about 5-6 lines next to each other. The thing is there was no pens in the bedroom, and its hard enough to find a pen in the house when we need one. Any way we just ignored it and thought he didnt wash properly. The following sunday (yesterday) we are back at our home which is a flat and is 60miles away from my parents. We put our pup to bed in his crate, and pulle dthe lounge door to a jar. Went to bed as normal... This morning we woke up my boyfriend showered, got dressed ready for work and then cam running in to me to show more evidence. On the right arm again he had blue biro line only one this time, but it was dug quiet hard into his arm almost like any deeper and it would bleed. again it was pretty straight. I lay on the left side of the bed and he is on the right, so his right arm is in the middle of the bed. Again there is no pens in our bedroom only in teh lounge where our pup was sleeping. The door was left the same position as it was as we left it the night before. And if anyone entered that room our pup would go crazy and wake us both up. Same if he or myself were sleep walking the pup would go mad, and the door wouldnt of been put back the same way as we left it. So strange could it be a sprit anyone had a simular encounter??? We will be ilming us sleep now until we have another encounter! VERY SCARED
I wake up with blue and purple marks on my arms?
Ok so lately I have beenwaking up with blue and purple marks on my body it looks like it is done by a marker but when i ask my family they say that they had nothing to do with it the marks do not itch or burn and it does not happen every morning. It happens on my arms chest and toes usually.

Is it a blue/slightly purple running up your arm where your veins are? My aunt had this happen, could be blood poisoning, or maybe you were bit by something while sleeping? I suggest makin a doctors appointment just in case.

Why do I have dark bruises on my left arm?
I just woke up this morning with dark bruises (not too dark kind of faded) on my left arm they look like spots there are about 5 of them and are about average size i guess the only reason for having this that I can think of is playing football I'm a defensive end and since we are not in full gear yet a lot of people block by slapping and smacking our hands (especially the ones that dont know how to block well) is there another possible reason for having this

I'm not a doctor, but I have a degree in medical assisting, and it sounds like you have either a hematoma, or a blown vein. A hematoma is a bubble of blood trapped under skin tissue that eventually goes away, but sometimes takes a while to disappear. Or you could have possibly blown a vein if you had a hard hit to the area. You need to see a doctor to know for sure. Don't wait. Go as soon as you can, because there is no substitute for a doctor's diagnosis.
What does it feel like to be bitten by a black widow spider?
"Deadly" gets thrown around when discussing Black Window spiders. The reality is that they are not all that deadly to an otherwise healthy person but speaking from experience, a bite will certainly screw up your day. About ten years ago I was cleaning out a storage shed. I had reached in behind a door frame and felt something bite. I pulled my arm out and saw the spider still on my arm. I dropped her in a mason jar to take her with me to the ER and went inside to call my wife. I did a little research on what to expect and figured that I had a couple of hours before I started exhibiting symptoms so we went out for dinner. I was fine during dinner. The site of the bite was slightly red and the weirdest thing was that in a ring around the bite about 1.5 inches across my skin was sweating, beading up like condensation on the side of a cold glass. No where else but that little area. By the time we checked into the ER (~2 hours after the bite) I was starting to have cramping in my stomach as well as sweating and chills. The nurses/Dr.s were pretty skeptical about my diagnosis until I produced the spider. They told me that while anti-venom did exist, the side effects were worse than what I would experience if I just rode it out. They started me on IV fluids with piggybacked narcotics and muscle relaxants. By this point, my entire body was experiencing random spasms and I was running with sweat and had pretty intense muscular pain throughout my entire body. The worst contractions were in the abdomen. It would spasm and lock up for 30 seconds before releasing. This repeated in a bell curve for better part of 6 hours. 30 seconds of cramping followed by two minutes of relaxation at the beginning and the end while the peak in the middle was 30 seconds of cramping, 30 seconds relaxation.. By morning I was better with the spasms receding. They discharged me and I was fine (albeit) tired.
