I have a discus tank and i would like to know if i can mix metronidazole and super ick cure in the tank?
I would be more concerned with the ich than the metro for right now. Concentrate on water quality, high temp, and salt. I wouldn't use super ich cure just yet. Slowly raise the temp up to around 88 degrees. Discus can easily handle higher temps, and actually prefer it. Start off with 1 tbsp of salt per gallon of tank water. You will want to disolve it in a cup of tank water first. Slowly add it throughout the day to raise salinity. You should see the ich disappear in a day or two. Once you have the ich cleared up, then you can use the metro. Email me if you have any questions.
I would like to know if my turtle & snake can coexist?
I have a 4 yr old ball python & a baby red eared slider turtle. I already have a large terrarium for my snake and a small 10 gal for my turtle. I would like to get a larger terrarium for my red eared slider, but i would also like to save space by combinding the 2. I know that my snake would probably pay no mind to the turtle, but I am worried that the turtle would snap at my snake. I have looked at some terrariums that have both land and water. I was wondering if there are any possible problems that I will run into if I was to have them together?
