I Would Like To Put A Picture As Background In A Certificate Microsoft Works

How do you put a box around text on microsoft works?

You have to unwrap the picture so you format the text just the way you want it. So, bring your picture in, then right button of mouse on it down to format picture, click on the layout tab on the window that is displayed - you will see pics of dogs,click on the one which says TIGHT, then underneath if you want text all around, choose centre, otherwise, left, right etc, then if I were you, as pics still have the habit of moving when you add more text, click on the advanced tab, and untick move object with text and instead select lock anchor. This should do it. If you want to make how the text wraps round the image more interesting, you can click on - and here you will have to go up to the picture formatting toolbar by which you could have done the layout options but more options the way I have described. Anywhere click on the bottom item, more wrapping options or edit wrap I think, you get a dotted frame around the image with a few little black boxes or dots, pull these out and the way the text flows round will change. You don't have to stick to pulling out by the boxes, you can pull out or in anwhere along the dotted line to change shape. It doesnt change the image itself, just alters the frame in which it is so the text has to conform to that shape.

Images in Excel are on a separate layer and float above the cells.  However, there may be some tricks that could approximate what you need.1. Insert > Picture2. Size the cell so that the picture fits completely within it.3. Right click on the picture and select Format Picture.4. Select Properties and click on Move and Size with Cells.At this point, you can resize the colum or row, insert columns or rows or filter data and the picture stays in the cell.  However, it's still possible to click on the picture and drag it out of the cell. How to insert a picture in a word document in the middle of text?

If you right click on the picture after you insert it you can choose the page formatting for the image. Try all the options for text placement so you can see what works best for you.

It doesn't matter what edition, they all have a different way. I didn't tell you which way, told you just to look for options for how to do it.

Having taken a few ones I can tell they are not difficult to complete. Mind you some courses from top Universities like MIT, Harvard, etc are somehow a little bit more difficult yet not that much.Although there has been research from MIT and Harvard on their created EDX platform where they mentioned that now that their certificates are not honoured ones but only verified ones the drop out rate has somehow decreased because now students that enrol do actually want to take a specific course and engage more and dedicate time to it and on the other side of the coin less people join the courses. (No one wants to lose money by not completing anything and dedicating a little effort) So basically it is a little bit more difficult for someone to cheat, yet not impossible. So I would say the newly verified certificates only show academic discipline and insight on the topic. I would in any case recommend the following:1. Get online platform courses from Top Universities in any case. Better having your prospective boss finding you actually did take an online course from a top University if he/she does care about making the homework of calling them and finding out is true.2. Even better. Do a Further Education diploma course directly with any University. Ivy or not Ivy league. However these are longer courses that can take from a few weeks to a few months to complete and are more difficult and you get proper homework to do and some times proper exams. Some are online and some are on campus. Classes are very limited and you actually interact with the instructors from their faculties through Skype, Hangout, etc as the class is very limited on number of students. Nevertheless some do cost a lot of money from $400 - $1,000 and specialty courses cost even way more but you get actual top teaching and research from any University.I believe any Edx course is worth it as long as it is from a top University but even better and more valid is a Further Education diploma course from any University. As a little tip top companies keep on sending their corporate officers to take this courses on campus. see point No 2.

What computer programme could I use to make a collage picture for my computer background?

You could probably do it in most graphical editing programs, but here is a somewhat sloppy free way that will work. Open up one version of paint. Put in a picture that will be the base of the background. Open a second version of paint. Put in a picture that will be added to the first. Resize that image smaller. Select and copy it. Paste it on the first copy of paint. Move it where you want it. Repeat with more pictures until you have what you are looking for and then save the picture and set it as background. I tried this and only added one picture. I don't know what this will do to the size of the file and I also don't know for sure what will happen if your picture stretches in order to fill the screen. If you play with that though you can probably figure out something basic. You will not be able to get good rotation angles or anything like that, but it is a start.

How to change wordpad backround?

The easiest way might be to hunt around the web for a freeware rich text editor that supports background colors.

However, there is a way to do it in Wordpad, but it's a bit technical:

1. Create a new folder

2. Open the folder

3. On the Folder's Tools Menu, select Folder Options

4. On the View Tab, UNCHECK the box that says "Hide extensions of known file Types"

5. Right-click within the folder and select "New-->Text Document"

6. Give the text document a name ending in .txt, like "BlackBG.txt"

7. Double-click the text document to open it in Notepad

8. Type or copy and paste the following lines EXACTLY, at the VERY BEGINNING of the document, allowing no leading lines or spaces:

{\rtf1
{\colortbl ;\red0\green0\blue0;}
\highlight1\ This Text has a colored background \highlight0
}

9. Save and close the document.

10. Right click the document and choose "Rename"

11. Give it a name ending in .rtf, like "BlackBG.rtf"

12.Open the rtf document in Wordpad. You'll now have an area with black text on a black background. You can change the color of the text to something you can see, and substitute your own text as you see fit. But before making changes, save a copy of the original to use as a template in the future. You can also use other colors besides black by substituting values between 0 and 255 for the red, green, and blue, for example, \red255\green255\blue0 will give you a YELLOW background.

Little pc problem? Desktop background ?

It sounds like a registry problem to me, so if you have enough guts to get into your registry, try this:

Note you must be an Administrator to perform this tip.

NOTE: Be careful what you are doing when modifying the registry as you can harm your computer or keep it from booting! This is an XP fix, but should work with Vista or W7 as well:

1. Run "Regedit" by typing REGEDIT into the RUN box in the Start Menu.

2. Navigate to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\ Windows\CurrentVersion\policies

3. If you see a folder (key) "ActiveDesktop" select it. If not, make a new key and label it "ActiveDesktop".

(I hope you know how to make a new KEY in the registry, it's not that hard to do, but do look it up on the net if you are not sure)

4. If you see "NoChangingWallPaper", double-click the DWORD value and set it to "0". Otherwise, you need to create a new DWORD value of "NoChangingWallPaper" and set it to "0".

5. Try changing your wallpaper. If this fix doesn't solve the problem, you may also need to make the above registry changes at location: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\ Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies .

What if I can't change my wallpaper position?

Several people have noted that with this fix they can change their desktop wallpaper, but not its position (stretch, tile, etc.). This situation has been noted with some HP computers and a "Wallpaper Picture Position Enabler" is available for some models. This discussion on Microsoft mentions how to get this possible fix.


Note,make sure you know what you are doing because if you mess up the registry, you can crash your computer.
