I You Are Apply For A Job And The Job Asks You About Yourself What Would You Say

How do I ask for Job Applications?

I have been working at Jcpennys for a year and four months. An Im going to start appling to some local places such as dunkin dounuts, Auto Zone, Michelin tire, and what not. What should I say or day when I walk in and ask for an application?

What should you say on a job application when it asks, "Why do you want to work here"?

This is a great place for your research/brown nosing skills. Why research? Why brown-nosing? You should have done your research on any company you want to work for-even retail, I've heard a lot of stores will ask about fit, style etc, for entry level sales roles. So you'll look at the company's website, their product or service, you'll read about them on glassdoor, you'll look up profiles of who has worked there on LinkedIn, you'll ask anyone you know (or don't know) who has worked there what it's like, you'll look at all social media accounts, you'll read all articles you can find about the company. Now if you've done all of those things and you can't think of one flattering thing to say about why you want to work there, then you stop the application. Why? Because you'll probably lose the job to someone else who has used this opportunity to showcase that they want to work there so much that they have done this research.Yes, it's a bummer, and yes it's time consuming, but unfortunately the ease of internet applications has meant that companies are getting flooded with applications and are more likely to take someone seriously as an applicant if they give a real and honest answer about why they want to work there.

What should we say if anyone ask "describe yourself"?

Generally this question is asked in interviews or personal who knows your basic personal details. So it's answer shouldn't include your basic bio data as they already know it and redundant information is not enjoyed. Lead with your personal qualities related to job description What it should contain is some personal characteristics, attitudes, your approach to things, etc. And you can follow up with a good example of practical experience which includes your forementioned qualities. Example should be as close to your job you're applying for as possible. Be aware of the interviewer’s reaction to your answerStay aware of the reaction of interviewers and if  they feel kind of bored then it means you've gone long enough. That's your cue to end it. Maintain a happy posture while speaking Remember you're at interview because you've already qualified educationally. Here they want to check your attitude and confidence. So maintain a good sitting posture, a smile on face, be cool and funny and to avoid nervous stammering, think and then speak. There's no hurry for answering.Essence of interview is to remain calm and confident whether you know the answers of their questions or not.

How to answer in interview for describe yourself?

If they ask you(at an interview) to describe yourself, just honestly describe your attributes(good qualities)that pertain to the particular job that you are being interviewed for.
For example:
If you are applying for an office job, you might tell them about your computer software abilities, attention to detail, ability to work well with others and/or independantly, etc.
It's an opportunity for you to tell the interviewer the benefits of their hiring you.
Good Luck

If a job opening says "Apply within", does that mean you need to apply at the location, or can you take the ..

you can take it home and you'll be fine

If an employment interviewer asked you to "describe yourself in five words - What approach would you take? What would you say? What would you avoid saying?

Try to use words that are honest and would make you a good candidate for the job. For example: studious, hardworking, dependable, organized, friendly. All of them are traits needed to do my job. All are truthful.Avoid traits that would be troublesome for the position you are applying for. For someone who works in a library or research position, being social might not be a good trait, but it is an awesome trait for a sales position.Good luck!

"Tell me about yourself" question for Ford Modeling.?

Don't tell them your life story - give your basics, your age, hometown and maybe any fashion related things you've done, or if you've ever done dance or acting, that would show that you are comfortable performing in front of others. Also at your age, they want to know why you waited until now to go into modeling instead of at 15 or 16 like most other models.

Do your research on Ford - there's a good Wikipedia page about them - and tell them why you want to be with Ford. Maybe you've always wanted to be with Ford since you were a teen because they represented Model A or Model B. Maybe its because they are one of the oldest and most reputable agencies in the world. Maybe its because they are still a family company

But honestly, they don't really pay attention to what you write unless they are going to call you in based on your looks - so they have a bit of background on you. You are first judged on your photos and your height - if you don't have the right look or body type they don't bother reading what you wrote. They only look at your submission for about 60 seconds before deciding if you have potential or not.

Instead of submitting photos, you are better off going to one of their open calls. Call them and find out the time. At an open call you know for sure an agent is seeing you. When you send in pictures they are first screened by assistants who only pass on a small % to the agents.
