Iam A Father Of A 1year Old Dauter Mother Was Arrested And Going To Do Some

Song for 5 yr old daughter and future step-dad to dance to - wedding?

I am getting re-married and I am looking for a song that my daughter (5 years old) and her future step-dad can dance to for our reception. We opted not to do the traditional "mother/father" dances due to my fiance having been adopted and he just met his birth mom less than a year ago, we didn't want to hurt any body's feelings.

I guess I'm just looking for a cute song that doesn't necessarily talk about you're my dad but maybe a song about new beginnings or something. Or about becoming family. I might join them towards the end of the song. Or a song about being there... I have searched and friends have recommended a few but nothing that shouts - this is the right one!

Thanks so much!

Should a parent be allowed to spank their 15 year old daughter?

As a parent, I use (sparingly) corporal punishment (spanking). I can't recall the last time I felt the need to use physical force on my children. By the age of 15, I should hope that your parent(s) would have found more effective means of institution and maintaining the house rules.
My oldest son (now 19) was a real problem child. He had what we believed was no personal currency. It did not matter to him how long he stayed grounded or what toys or privileges he lost. And he took absolutely no interest in earning them back. I believe in letting the punishment fit the crime, and so it was that I stumbled onto his personal currency. He often would make it a point to open (or close) peoples bedroom doors, just for the sake of pissing them off. I removed his door. Having no privacy drove him crazy and brought him around immediately.
Spanking and pulling the hair of a 15 year old? Sounds very inappropriate. Who is the child and who is the adult? Please, learn from the mistakes of your parent(s) and not repeat the same mistakes when raising a child of your own.

Should I let my 15 year old daughter smoke weed?

Sir, or ma’am, first I want to say, it is totally 100% up to you whether YOU are OKAY with her smoking weed. But now I’m going to tell you, you have 100% no control over if she does or doesn’t.I’m 16 y/o now, and started smoking at 14. I’m a bright child, get straight A’s, have a good home life, and am not a bad child.I didn’t ask my mother if I could smoke weed, I knew there was no reason cuz the answer would be no. But I did it anyways. I didn’t do it to run away from my problems, or escape reality, I did it because I wanted to experience weed for myself at least once. but I wanted to do it with friends, and people who would be fun to do it with.Smoking weed does have it’s side-effects, but nothing bad. yeah, once in a while if you smoke too much, you might get paranoid, but I’ll tell you know, too much weed can also make her feel sick to her stomach and make her stop herself before she gets that high. Smoking weed can be so helpful to a person, no matter what age. I have trouble concentrating, anxiety, social anxiety, and insomnia. When I smoke weed in small amounts, I sleep better, and can communicate better, concentrate so much more, especially with school. And who is she smoking with? More than likely friends that care about her. She wouldn’t do it alone unless she was at home or out back in the yard. As long as she is with friends, nothing bad will happen. I’ll tell you now, all stoners look out for other stoners, especially first time smokers! as it’s said, “A stoner never lets a stoner get stoned.” meaning they never let a friend get harmed. they’ll keep her fed, and give her a place to sleep if she is sleep, take her out to do fun things while she is high, and watch her to make sure she doesn’t do stupid shit.In my opinion, let her smoke. At least then, you know she is doing it, and she will be honest with you about it. Smoke with her, so you know what it is like, so you know how she feels. For all you know, you might end up liking the way you feel high, or maybe even realize it helps you in some way.Just remember, you can’t stop her, she is 15. you can only talk to her, and understand.P.S if she is smoking after you said no, and you find out, yelling atop your lungs won’t help at all. I should know. it will make the situation worse. just sit her down and talk to her like a normal person.

I caught my 10 year old daughter looking at Internet porn?

We allow her access to the internet, but have parental controls set up on her account. When she tries to access an inappropriate site, the software blocks her and sends us an alert. A couple of weeks ago, we received an alert that she was searching google for "naked sex pictures" as well as some other things. At 1st denial set in, and we ignored it thinking it must have been her friend that came over to visit. This wkend, I noticed she had been on MY web page (I had forgotten to log off) and had searched similar things. I talked to her about it and got nothing but 1 word answers. I told her that I would be happy to talk to her about anything, buy her a book, etc. I said that I understood if she was curious and I wasn't mad. I said that I would be upset, though, if I caught her doing it again because now she knows that I am open to discussing this with her. Well -- that very night, she accessed my site (she must know my password), and searched google again (she doesn't know that we can see "history"). I don't know what to do at this point. Should I punish her? I am sure she is curious, and I want to encourage her to talk to me, but that approach obviously didn't work. Anyone with experience with this - please give me some advice. I think that porn sites give an unflattering picture of what sex really represents, therefore, I don't want to just ignore it. Her ideas about sex are just forming and I want them to be healthy. I have been talking to her about sex (at an age appropriate level) since she was 6.
