Tea: sweetened or unsweetened?
I usually drink sweetened tea, but more on the bitter side.. Too much sugar makes me gag. I sometimes drink really, really cold unsweetened tea.. It can hit the spot when you're thirsty.
How do you like your tea? Sweetened or unsweetened?
Answer to question: Always iced and depends on who makes it if I want it sweetened or not. Always with lemon!

They do it to save money. When a restaurant presweetens their tea, they can control exactly how much sugar goes in, so there's no waste. Many places save even more money because they don't even use cane sugar. They use high fructose corn syrup to sweeten their tea. HFCS is less expensive then cane sugar and is already a liquid, so there's no worry getting it to dissolve. We're used to the taste of HFCS since most major soft drinks us it as a sweetener, so iced tea that contains it doesn't taste "off".
Do you prefer sweet or bitter iced tea?
I don’t normally drink iced tea at all, even though I’m an American. I only drink it iced if I go to the restaurant and want something that’s not water — I dislike carbonated beverages.My favorite kinds of tea are black tea and earl grey, with earl grey being my favorite. I set my coffee pot to regular brew, without putting coffee in the basket, and make some hot water. Then I put a bag of tea in the cup and let it sit until it’s cool enough to drink.I don’t add anything to my tea besides tea and water. Along with coffee, I say that if people don’t like the beverage’s real taste, you shouldn’t try to change it to suit how you want it to taste, though I’m sure that’s just me that thinks this way.Now that I’m on the subject of coffee, I drink mine either cold brew with enough milk to dilute it just enough so that I don’t “bounce off the walls” like my mother used to say, or hot brewed with about 2/3 cup of milk. No sugar, again, if you don’t like it’s bitter taste, don’t adjust it to suit you.Plus, I’m on a diet. I don’t have all that added sugar that a lot of people put in coffee.
Is it werid to order an iced tea half sweet half unsweet from mcdonalds?
i think there sweet tea is too sweet... so i do half and half... however now that i think about it im wondering is this werid or not? are the teas totally diffrent?

If you add a sweetener to unsweet tea does it now become sweet tea?
Yes. That simple addition of sweetener, generally sugar, turns plain tea to a sweet tea. Best way to add sugar to cold tea though is to make a simple syrup, 1/2 cup each water and sugar, heat until sugar has dissolved. Add the mixture to your tea . Use what you need to get the tea as sweet as you want. Store the rest in the refrigerator. Sugar does not dissolve easily in cold water so adding the sugar to the hot water it dissolves easier.
