The attachment icon in Yahoo Mail is missing. How do I get it back?
Wow ... After MONTHS of not finding the attachment paperclip I have FOUND the SOLUTION. Hover the mouse to the RIGHT of the send button and the text box will appear tha will state Attach File. Also the other icons such as attachment options and bold and font are there but you need to hover your mouse to find em.
No attachment icon when i compose mail?
You have to be in full featured Yahoo Mail (not Basic). If you don't see Send, paper clip icon, then try Yahoo Mail on a different browser.
Missing attachment paperclip in compose email?
The (paper clip) icon is located on the right side of the page in line with the word attachment on the left side. It's very small and hard to see. Do this; 1. click on the square icon with the pencil to start composing. 2. click on the attachment icon (right side) 3. click on the browse button 4.find file-picture-etc: click open 5.click upload 6. click continue 7.click send ( now located on the right lower side of the screen. It takes a little getting used to but it works. Note: There are a least 4 different versions of Yahoo mail, so it depends on your browser and your operating system. My answer above is for my Windows XP ( IE 8 ). If I switch to Google, I get a different version. Also there is the basic and the full version. I don't know which one you are using but wish you luck in finding the right answer.

Turn off Javascript - you'll then be asked if you want to return to Mail Classic, click "yes". If you don't know how to turn off Javascript... For SAFARI: Open SETTINGS>click PREFERENCES>>click SECURITY>>Uncheck ENABLE JAVA and ENABLE JAVASCRIPT IMPORTANT:Remember to RE-ENABLE JAVA and JAVASCRIPTING back ON when you are back in Mail Classic because without it some mail functions won't work. For IE: Open TOOLS > INTERNET OPTIONS >> SECURITY. In security click "CUSTOM LEVEL" -> disable active scripting in the scripting section. IMPORTANT:Remember to turn JAVASCRIPTING back ON when you are back in Mail Classic because without it some mail functions won't work. For FIREFOX: Open TOOLS -> OPTIONS -> CONTENT, click on "DISABLE JAVASCRIPT". Now hit F5 to refresh the page while you are in Yahoo! email in order to switch back... In the options, click (PERMANENT) to switch back to YAHOO! Classic. DO NOT click the "ONE TIME ONLY" option. IMPORTANT: Turn JAVASCRIPT back ON once you have your "CLASSIC" account back. In order to attach files to an email you have to be in the process of composing the email. That's the only time the "Attach Files" button is visible. Sometimes you have to clear your browser's cache of old cookies, temporary files and history because they can keep returning you to a non-working website or web page. My yahoo email doesn't show attachment icon?
Do you mean you can't attach any files to outgoing emails? What you should be looking for is the paperclip icon in the header of your emails once you press the "compose" button. This is all you need to attach any files or pics to your outgoing mail.
