If this is an ongoing issue with a specific manager, you will have to adjust how you communicate with them. Get an idea for what types of things they tend to be closed minded about and try to figure out why they are that way. Prove yourself to them over a period of time. For a time, when presenting ideas to them, try to make sure most of these ideas do not fall within the areas they are close minded about. That way they will have a chance to analyze your ideas in the context of less bias, more on the merit of the idea itself. Hopefully then they will approve of or build upon the idea rather than shut it down. They may even act upon it or allow you to act upon it. Eventually many of these ideas may work out well, and they may come to value your opinion more. This should give you the ability to go just outside their comfort zone with ideas you present to them. But don’t go too far outside their comfort zone or they will likely shut down your ideas and you may lose what you have built up with them. Even when you get to the point where they allow you to try out ideas that are just outside their comfort zone, don’t do that all the time or you will lose what you have gained. Give them time to grow and figure out for themselves they had some false, or at the very least, oversimplified beliefs.

My Kitchenaid Compactor won't close. Any Ideas on how to fix or familiarity with the problem?
Model? I think it is like the Whirlpools. You have to pull out the whole container. There is a notch in the track. With it full open lift up to pull the front wheels out and pull it out further and lift out the rear wheels. Then you will find ALL SORTS of crud behind it. And the arms on the container that go in to the track slide back in to two holes where are switches. Behind the panel you are looking at. Sometime stuff gets caught and goes in there. But if digging stuff out of there, cut the power or unplug it because the connectors on the switches in back have power (they are for the tilt and bin safety). I use a pair of long needle nose pliers to pull the junk out of there through the square hole. Good Luck.

Just had my wisdom teeth out this AUgust and my dentist gave me Cubroprofen and Codeine. You should be able to get the Cubprofen over the counter. I took these as directed. If you can get that, any ibuprofen would work.
