What are good ideas for gifts for friends at Christmas?
This depends from person to person and how well you know your friends. For example, I know that my best friend absolutely HAAAATES hanging fairy string lights, but she just LOOOOVES how they look and how they make my house, indoors and outdoors, look. So, what did I do? I ordered some string lights from Koopower, and then I went to her place (checked if she was there by phone call, first), and surprised her with the lights, some alcohol, and we proceeded to spend the day together decorating her house.When we finished, it looked something like thisExcept for the flag. Needless to say, she was absolutely OVERJOYED at the result and told me she loved (as a friend, obviously) and how much she appreciated it. We were a bit tipsy by the end, but the result was well worth the time and effort we took to achieve it.So, to reiterate - depending on just how good friends are you with them as well as how good you know them, the present can be anything from simple cheap jewelry to show that you care a bit, but not to much, to day-long projects that will show your friend just how much you love, care and listen to them.

Since you already made her a scrapbook last your, why don't you bump it up one notch and make her a memory video this year? You could take you favorite pictures, mix them with videos you've taken with her and add some cool music to create special really memorable. You can use easy editing software like iMovie if you have a Mac or if you don't have enough time to edit yourself you could have experts (like ours at Pixability) do it.

Just about every week, Michael's craft store and Hobby Lobby have ads in the Sunday newspapers that feature a 40% off any regular priced item in their stores. I think JoAnn Fabrics has this same coupon too, but not every week. Anyway, I've gotten lots of great gifts for teachers, neighbors, my husband's secretary, etc. with these coupons. Hobby Lobby probably has the bigger selection of non-craft items ... things like scented candles, pictures frames, framed art, pottery, ceramic pieces, etc. You can really stretch your budget with these coupons and not end up with cheap looking junk.
