Identify This Black/gray Beetle In Kansas

Do people from Indiana have an accent? If so, how would you describe it and what other regions’ accents would it compare to?

In a dialect survey, these results were realized for Indiana:https://www4.uwm.edu/FLL/linguis...Part of the problem is that Indiana isn’t a single state, but at least two, and possibly three. South of Indianapolis, you’ll find more Kentucky-like speech patterns, while up north of Indy you’ll find more Midwestern accents, similar to Michigan or Minnesota. And some people think of the far northwest corner, around Gary and Chicago, as having its own speech patterns.Linguists have identified Indiana as having a Midland dialect (Midland American English) But even that isn’t common to the whole state, but only its central band. So I suppose the answer to the posed question is “Yes, but there are multiple ones.”

Is it legal to paint my car like a police car?

This applies for the United States:You are welcome to paint your car any way you wish — within limits. You may not use any logos or words that would falsely indicate that you are a law enforcement officer. So you’re welcome to paint it with black nose and tail with white doors (or is it vice-versa?), but you cannot put the word “POLICE” on your car or put a mock sheriff’s star on the door. You can install a light bar on top, but only with amber beacons, no red or blue beacons.I am not a lawyer. The above is not legal advice.

What are some slang terms used among police officers?

The most derogatory terms for the bad guys and citizens who are just pains in the rectum:A.H. = Adam Henry (A-dam H-enry) If you don’t get it…..sometimes you will hear it as “Jack Hole”…..now what starts with an “A” that ends with HOLE ?RICHARD CRANIUM= What starts with a “D” and is a nickname for Richard ? What is the non-medical layman’s term for the Cranium ? Do these clues HEAD you in the right direction ?
