If A Person Were To Eat 4 Servings Of Cookies How Many Calories From Fat Would They Consume

Can a person eat chocolate chip cookies when trying to lose weight if they only eat a little bit?

Iys all about moderation. Sure have one. NOT ONE BAG!!!Read the labels. I was told not to eat anything that has a double digit of sugar grams.Chocolate chip cookies are yummy but the taste will linger for a short while on our taste buds but will live on our hips, thighs, calves, etc for way toooooo long.

How many cookies is too many? How many do you eat in one sitting / advise to eat in one sitting?

Well obviously more cookies than your hand can hold is not recommended. On the back of any food product theres a servings size, which is there to keep you nutrition with the boundarys of a day. Its also there (if you need it for this) to help people that are on a diet get a snack thats still within there calorie intake of there diet plan. Now for home baked cookies its a different story because you use cooking oil, butter, lots of sugar. The best way to figure out how many of those to eat would be to research online. make sure you use the name of the cookie/snack because different things contain different ingredients and can drastically increase/decrease the calories.Eating junk food in moderation will help you not worry about the potential heath risks of overeating. Hope my answer helped.

How many oreo cookies would you have to eat to gain 1 pound?

Is it okay to eat one or two cookies every day?

This depends upon your overall eating and exercise situation. If you are of normal weight for you, get plenty of exercise, and don’t have diabetes, then probably one or two cookies per day are okay - of course, I’m assuming these are not HUGE cookies that are 250–300 calories each. The goal is to consume no more calories per day than you burn off.If you consume cookies daily and start gaining weight, then you know you’re consuming too many calories.

Do ALL calories make you gain weight?

Basically calories tell you how much energy is in something.

Weight gain happens when you take in more energy than you use (in women this is ~ 2000cals a day men 2500)

Weight loss happens when you burn more than you take in (eg reducing calories to ~1500 a day and exercise to increase your energy requirement)

So YES everything you put in your mouth will contribute to weight gain if you are taking in too much.

Do you go by the serving sizes listed?

no. Serving size is just a measurement of product they give the nutritional facts for. A portion is the amount you eat. It would be nice if they'd just tell you what the nutrition facts are for the whole package, and you could just do your own math... say you eat half a package, then just divide all the nutrition amounts by 2. If that was just normal foods that would be ok, but like say you buy a 5 oz. bottle of cooking oil, it says 1 tablespoon (1/2 oz) is a serving, but you may be using 4 tablespoons for a recipe, it doesn't mean that item you're cooking should be for 4 people, it's just their way of giving you a measurement for the fat, calories, vitamins, etc.

it's confusing because recipes say "serves 4" -- if they truly mean 4 people, than to follow suit, they should say "makes 4 portions"

Will I lose weight if I keep my calories intake to weight loss levels but eat white bread and jam or butter for breakfast and tea with sugar/cookie?

It might not seem fair; one person can eat anythingwithout gaining a gram. Another person will feel fat just by eating a cake. Itall has to do with your metabolism, so how quickly your body breaks down foodand converts it into energy. The speed of your metabolism depends on factorssuch as gender, age, height, hormonal and genetic predisposition. Men happen toburn faster and more calories than women. And the older you get, the sloweryour metabolism will be. Fortunately, you can make yourself a few things to putyour metabolism into high gear.1. Build muscle massThe best way to speed up your metabolism is to putyour muscles to work. This is best by weight training. Muscles burn a lot morecalories when they are intensively used. Half a kilo of muscle consumes about35 calories per day, and event at rest your muscles consume energy. So if youwant to boost your metabolism for the long term, then weight training is theway.2. Sports in the morningIf your body gets to work in the early hours, thisworks all day on your metabolism. Just take the bike to work instead of bus orcar, and you'll find yourself all day have more energy.3. Drink more waterYour metabolism slows down already at slightdehydration of the body. So make sure you drink enough water. Scientificresearch showed that people who drink eight glasses of water per day burn morecalories than those who drink four glasses of water per day. Ice cold waterdrinking also helps to speed up your metabolism slightly. This is notrecommended if you have a sensitive stomach.4. Eat more oftenIf you eat three big meals a day, then your metabolismis trained to slow down. In the hours between meals, your body goes to powersaving mode. At the next big meal calories come especially hard. It is betterto spread throughout the day to eat several small portions. This will keep wellunderway combustion. Several studies have shown that people who eat smallportions throughout the day eat less during the main meal.5. Eat more proteinYour body needs twice as much energy to digestproteins than for the digestion of fats or carbohydrates. Proteins are in tofu, eggs, fish, chicken, lean pork or beef, nuts, beans and dairy products.Hope thishelped you, if you want more, you can read this article from my blog.
