If Al Quaida Is Real Should They Know Enough To Embrace Non-violence Instead Of Feeding Their

Do Muslims respect people who follow other religions? I’m getting the impression that Islam says if you don’t believe in Allah you’re doomed for hell and Islam is the only "true" religion. How do moderate Muslims look at followers of other religions?

Muslims believe that Islam is the only true religion today. Muslims believe that Judaism and Christianity were also true religions at their time i.e. the time of Moses and Jesus, but these religions were superceded when Allah/God sent Islam as the final religion for humanity through his last prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him), and Islam is and will remain the only true religion until the end of the world.Islam teaches that Muslims must treat non-Muslims with respect. Any non-Muslim is a human first and a non-Muslim after that. Islam teaches Muslims to deal with all humanity, and animals, with respect, justice, humbleness and kindness. Regarding how a Muslim views followers of other religions: well, it varies from person to person; I don't think you can't generalize. Generally, Muslims look towards non-Muslims as fellow humans and don't think too much about their religion and beliefs. In his heart, a Muslim would feel that the non-Muslim is on the wrong path and would feel a bit of sympathy for a non-Muslim.Regarding who will go to Paradise and who will go to hell, the Qur'an - which Muslims believe is the word of Allah/God - says that every man is in loss except those who: have Faith (believe in teachings of Islam) AND do good deeds AND tell others to do good deeds AND stay away from things which Allah has prohibited AND tells each other to be patient. Muslims believe that Allah has the final word on who will go to Paradise or Hell, so even following these rules doesn't guarantee a place in Paradise. Muslims can only do as told by Islam and hope for the mercy of Allah in form of Paradise. Incidentally, there is no such thing as Moderate, Liberal, Fundamental Muslim. Islam and its teachings are fixed and final. You can say a Muslim is a practising Muslim or not, but there is no such thing as a moderate or immoderate Muslim.

Do Byronic men ( men with Byronic hero personality) exist in real life?..?

Definition : Cooked up by the "mad, bad, and dangerous to know" Lord Byron, a Byronic hero is an antihero of the highest order. He (or she) is typically rebellious, arrogant, anti-social or in exile, and darkly, enticingly romantic.

Which surah is known as "qalb al-qur'an" and why?

Dear,

Assalamu'alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh.

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful.

My answer to "Qalb Al-Qur'an" is Surah "YA SIN".

Surah Yassin is the second to Surah "Al-Fathihah Ummul Kitab".

In the Surah Yassin The First Verse to The Seventh Verses Says;

Surah 36. "YA SIN"

Bismillahhirrahmannir-Rahim.

In The Name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful,

36: 1-7: " Ya sin. l swear by the Wise Qur'an that you are one of those sent upon a straight path. This is a revelation of the Mighty One, the Merciful, so that you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned, and, therefore, they are heedless. The sentence has justly been pronounced against most of the, because they do not believe".

"Saldakallahhul'azeem"

Why,

Lots of things base on Surah "YA SIN". Among the example are; This Surah to be recite;

1. Dying person.

2. Asking help from God for specific intention. Normally recited by at about 44 person at a time.

Normally every Thursday night after compulsory prayer of Magrib in the Mosola or Mosque in my country, Malaysia, this surah YA SIN will be recite by every person attending the Mosque or Mosola. Immediately finish with "DO'A YA SIN". In the DO'A the credits for reciting the Surah YA SIN to be presented to Prophet Muhammad Sallallahhu'alaihi Wassalam and Allul Bait, to all Muslimim and Muslimat and all Soul to those Muslims that have had died and to our own Father and Mother and relations. Later, perform the compulsory Isyak prayer. It is believe that Al-Mighty God fulfill the intention.

Wabillahhitaufiq Walhidayah Wassalamu'alaikum Warahmatullahhi Wabarakatuh.

Does anyone else find this highly disturbing?

Watching that clip gave me chills. I went to bible camps and such as a child, even spent a summer at vbs in a born again church, and was never subjected to anything like that.

I think what bother me the most was the children and parents screaming 'righteous justice'. Watching the children cry and thrash, and watching that one boy with the rattail haircut (did anyone tell his parents that went out of style?) say that ha was saved at the age of five because he wanted something more out of life.

I'm sorry, but at five the only thing 'more' you should want out of life is more toys and more candy. What these people are teaching their children is tantamount to child abuse. And after reading what Duck Phup said, I am incredibly scared and saddened. Especially to read about the conservative Christian pastors in Texas calling for the execution of Wiccans.

I can totally understand the idea of 'this is how they're turning out terrorists overseas, why don't we start educating them as young', but what they are being taught is EXACTLY THE SAME as what the fundamentalist Muslims are teaching their kids, minus the weapons. For now, at least.

Is Torture morally acceptable ?

hello

Im interested how many bloggers are anti torture

The 11 September 2001 attacks were carried out by 19 hijackers, and managed to kill at least 2,974 innocent people (excluding 24 missing presumed dead)

The 19 muslim extremists managed to show no regard for innocent lives, and managed to sow indiscriminate death.

Imagine if one of them had been caught before the attacks ... and under torture revealed the names of his fellow muslim terrorists ... and the authorities managed to arrest them ... and save close to 3000 lives .... wouldnt torture then have been morally justifiable?

Im just so curious that the murdering muslim cowards have the sympathy of the general public?

So ... who is anti torture ... give valid reasons ?

The war on terrorism...the new (cold war era) communist threat?

what do you think...
Terrorism in the 21st century is like the communist scare in the cold war era.

Are/were either of these threats 'real'? Or were they excuses for furthuring governmental interests. I.E- Iraq

Please, please, please don't be offended by this!! I don't want to offend anyone or sound insensitive!! This was a discussion we had in class and I thought it was interesting.
Leave your thoughts and thanks
