Well Mulan is set a bit further back than Attila. It is also not completely historically accurate, and there may be a link between the Huns and a people called Xiongnu in Mongolia. Genghis Khan was a Mongolian conqueror who is linked to the Huns - although that is disputed. There is speculation that the Huns originated in Mongolia and then moved and conquered west towards the Roman Empire. And I think as a rule, one should just assume all Disney movies are inaccurate. Because they (mostly are). There may be a few exceptions, but I'm not sure.
