Which parts of the voting blocs for Democrats would pivot to voting for Howard Schultz?

If this were a race against anyone but Trump (or maybe Sarah Palin) that would be me. I have this terrible premonition that we are going to have a ticket that marries the most liberal member of the Senate to an actual avowed socialist.I’d vote for Cruz/Christie before I’d pull the lever for these harpies. There are a lot of neocons like me who have had to go Democrat since our party was stolen from us by populists. I’ll never forgive y’all for that. I voted Bush both times AND enlisted during his administration.Populists. Ugh. Why would my party do such a thing? I thought Republicans had put an end to that with William Jennings Bryan.Pictured: My preferred ticket. I ain’t gonna get it.Alternates, spares and Cabinet Members.Since I will probably vomit when I force myself to pull the Kamala lever, I imagine many people like me will not take the bullet. This coffeemongering dipweasel will peel off everyone who thinks like me.Everyone who loves guns. And the military. And would like to see social progress be incrimental rather than traumatic.I cannot vote for Trump though. I must vote for the person with the best chance to beat him, no matter how odious.I could look the other way despite him belonging to a sect of Christianity that is the only religion, other than Scientology, that I believe to be evil: Christopher Aeneadas's answer to What Church does Trump belong to?He may or may not be senile and suffering from dementia. Christopher Aeneadas's answer to Do you consider Donald Trump to be a villain? Reagan was too, but I have a poster of him. Framed.None of that would make me vote for Hillary as I did last election. None of that would make me vote for Kamala. Christopher Aeneadas's answer to When and why did you stop supporting Hillary Clinton? The problem is that Donald Trumps temperament and ignorance make him an immediate threat to the survival of the human race. Christopher Aeneadas's answer to Is your vote for a Democrat a vote for democracy or just a vote against Trump? So my answer is this: Howard Schultz can and will draw off Never Trumper, globalists, and anti-populists. By doing so he is a threat to the survival of humanity.I would have preferred the corpse of Adolph Hitler wearing a party hat and a sequined dress to Hillary, Trump, Kamala, or anyone who can say the word “Socialist” without sneering or spitting. But Trump is a threat, whereas the rest are merely problems.Pictured: The Republican ticket that would bring me back to the Party.

When republicans lose the election will sarah palin fade away into non existence?

I honestly suspect that if they are not elected, this will be her 15 minutes of fame.

Why is the American left obsessed with Sarah Palin? If she is so inherently flawed as a person and potential candidate, obviously she is unelectable and the left should pay her no heed.

She is the great symbol of how low the GOP has sunk in terms of national politics. Efforts to polish her up in the media aside (and yes, that happened), she was basically an effort to gather the Southern, low income, white vote. Which is like the Democrats making an effort to get the inner city black vote - using an important tool to get something you would have had no matter what.2008 is the only election where she could possibly have gotten tagged as a VP candidate. She was literally the only remotely viable candidate who would accept the nomination. The GOP reached the bottom of the barrel, turned the barrel over and looked under it, and then dug down a few feet. If Palin had turned them down, they were going to have to start looking at state legislators. No one who saw any possibility of Presidential politics in their future was interested in being McCain's VP.If they could have gotten almost anyone else to run, there is a very good chance that we'd all be complaining about President McCain now. Thats how many people voted against Palin in 2008. The idea of her possibly becoming President was fucking terrifying. Republicans should also be fascinated with her. The RNC should have posters with her picture and the words "Never Again" on every wall of every office they have in the country. She should have sparked a massive effort to groom quality candidates for the party to choose from in 2012 and beyond. She didn't, and that's why we'll probably have at least 4 more years of a Democrat in the White House come 2016.

Why do you think John McCain’s VP running mate, Sarah Palin, was not invited to his funeral? Did they have a falling out after they ran together?

Why wasn’t Sarah Palin invited to McCain’s funeral?Because Palin represents THE REAL JOHN MCCAIN.McCain did want to choose a scum like Lieberman, a longtime political Judas figure who did more to defeat Al Gore with his weary sanctimony than the passive-aggressive Clintons did pretending not to exist; but yes, the RNC advised against Lieberman, too strongly for McCain to oppose.Feeling thwarted McCain acted out willfully and wildly against the RNC, choosing Palin without any vetting beyond ensuring the person who showed up on his doorstep was as a matter of fact the Republican Governor of Alaska. Not many people know that Palin governed Alaska more like a democratic populist, having raised taxes on oil related operations in Alaska and disbursed those increases directly to individual citizens rather than filter them to minority groups through government as Democrats do or filter them to corporations through government as Republicans do.It isn’t out of the question that the sight of Palin brought back memories of McCain’s younger days and so removed more IQ points than McCain had to spare. To spite the RNC for blocking Lieberman, McCain chose Palin, someone they couldn’t block without dividing the party even more than McCain himself did.McCain is about 95% legend and 5% real person. The real person inside the legend was a spiteful fuck who never accepted responsibility for anything if he could get out of it. Even his POW refusal to accept favorable treatment was standard procedure; McCain could have been court-martialed had he taken the NV offer to go home out of turn. Further, McCain was a leading bad actor in the Keating scandal, not a trailing figure. McCain gulled the other senators into selling favors, but he claimed - while crying like a baby in a closed door senate hearing - that he was too stupid to know how that sort of thing worked, after which his wife’s money paid for the PR that made it stick. Not inviting Palin removes any possibility of cameras playing on her during the memorials and commentator observations drifting into an area less than morbidly saccharine grandiose praise. Without Palin in the simpering crowd the event is sanitized; one truth about McCain’s judgment is off the table, and a separate truth about his character is off the table, at least in the form of the living, breathing Sara Palin.
