If He Were Allowed To Go Anywhere And Talk To The Press Who Would Bush Jr . Endorse As President

Do you agree with Republican Senator Cochran that President McCain "sends a cold chill down your spine"

"The thought of his being president sends a cold chill down my spine," Cochran said about McCain. "He is erratic. He is hotheaded. He loses his temper and he worries me."

McCain has embraced some real radical ministers lately. First he says he is "very proud" to be endorsed by John Hagee, who called the Catholic church "the Great [vile word starting with Wh meaning prostitute]"

Next he calls Rod Parsley his "spiritual guide"

Parsley says there is no difference between violent Islamist extremists and moderate muslims. He wants to go to war with all of them. Thats right!! 1.3 billion people. 99.999999% of whom are completely innocent. McCain's spirtual guide wants to kill them all.

After we go bomb bomb bomb Iran, what are we going to hit next: the Vatican or Mecca?

Is it normal for a sitting President in his final term to comment as frequently on the primary campaign minutiae of the opposing party as President Obama does?

It is normal given that these last years the G.O.P. has done nothing but talk about Obama's Muslim background, Communist/Socialist policies and the impossibility of him being born in the U.S. because it is impossible for an American to want Universal Healthcare and last not least his weakness... So after all that talk, they dared step out of Fox News where they can talk all this nonsense protected by a sense of partisanship and mutual support and they now have to talk to a broader audience. That's means they have to put on the Big Boys pants and say in what direction will they take the country, what they stand for, etc... However, if amongst the qualities you claim to have is toughness, then you are expected to show it not only by treating your opponents roughly, but when tested showing that you can stand your ground, otherwise you appear to be a bully, a loud mouth and worse for an aspiring presidential candidate you put yourself in a position where you can easily be ridiculed... In a country where equal rights is the basis of the political system anyone can take a shot at you. On top of that, it is normal for a President to take any opportunity to show how unfit for that position his opponents are and how poor their performance is. In this age of reality TV and nasty political debate they should be prepared for this... So yes it is normal and it is also a case of Republicans blaming Obama for the problems they create...

Since Jeb Bush was the governor of Florida from 1999-2007, did he help his brother win the 2000 presidential election?

Of course Jeb Bush helped his brother get elected. The controversial 2000 presidential election will always be remembered for voting irregularities in Florida. The most unusual thing, that Ted Cruz doesn't want to talk about, is the fact that he was one of the lawyers employed by Junior Bush. Ted Cruz helped Junior steal the election.

In the Collier brothers book--Votescam: The Stealing Of America-- they claim that even the Florida senate and governor's race was fixed. In both races, there was an identical number of votes listed as having been in each of the three separate elections. According to professional statisticians this is a mathematical impossibility.

Then there was Dan Rocco, executive VP of Choice Point, the company that supplied a questionable list of felons to Florida's secretary of State Katherine Harris during the 2000 election. Rocco mysteriously died in a plane crash in 2002.

Then there were many other unexplained deaths shortly after the election, of people connected to the scandal. So many infact they are dubbed --The Bush Body Count ( Hidden History) .

Why has Carter a bad reputation and Reagan a good one?

The primary reason than Carter has a poor reputation in the US is because he was a inept politian. He was unable to work with Congress, his legislative agenda was a joke and Carter took a big hit for pardoning draft dodgers. Most of his attempts at foreign relations, while well intended, ended badly for the US and the world.

The biggest strike against Carter's legacy is his concession speech after losing the 1980 election. It wasn't what he said, but rather when he said it. Carter gave his concession speech shortly after the polls closed in the Midwest. This lowered Democratic turnout in the West and West Coast regions, which was critical in several Congressional races and gave Reagan a Republican Congress and an apparent mandate to work with.

From a moral and humanitarian standpoint, Carter was a decent President. As a leader he left much to be desired. Reagan on the other hand presented strong leadership and put the country on a course - for good or ill. He may had pushed American imperialism, but it could be argued (especially from an American viewpoint) that there are far worse things than American Imperialism.

Looking at the the overall picture of American history, two term presidents have a much better legacy than single term presidents. This is in part because they did a good enough job to be reelected, but also because after reelection they have 4 years (possibly two if the midterm election is in play) without having to worry about pleasing the electorate and thus can do some real governing.

All of these things play into why Carter has a bad political reputation and Reagan enjoys cult like status in the US. Overall, I think it boils down to the fact that America likes a winner, and Reagan was a winner from the Iran affair (which was over before he took office, Iran simply waited to release the hostages until Regan was sworn in) through the fall of the Berlin Wall. Winning excuses many faults.

Why is the media trying to sanitize the image of George W. Bush?

I can’t speak for the media but I can speak for me and maybe the same is happening along people in the media and other kind, thoughtful people.Dubya was a huge failure as a business owner and as a politician. But he had a Good name that his family had cultivated with good work.. hard work.. mostly honest work.As a president, Dubya was a huge failure. I personally think that less noble segments of the Republican Party saw he was a good, kind, personable guy if somewhat a dim bulb (not as a whole but on the level of game they were playing. I am very bright and can play chess very well but I wouldn’t stand a chance on the national or world scale).Dubs deserves all of the criticisism and low approval he received while holding the mantle he should have never reached for. (I honestly think he just wanted daddy to be proud of him and knew he wasn’t close to the favorite. I think that got us into Iraq… likely his worst misstep). But people were not wrong. He is the one you would most like to have a beer with, or watch a game or have at your party. He is genuinely a good hearted and nice man. And now free of the manipulations and pressures of a presidency he actually can let the wonderful part of himself shine.Carter is somewhat the same. The job was far too big for them. But after the job they could virtually apply for sainthood in how they now see and treat the world.
