If I Buy An Iphone 4 Will It Be Updated

Can't update iphone 4?

Sometimes it can be as simple as you have updated an app and iTunes is detecting that. When your phone is connected to iTunes, right click on it and choose transfer purchases. It will then transfer and update any purchases. Then you can go ahead with the update. I did the update on Tuesday and that's what I did

When you say it doesn't work. How do you know. Is it giving you a message. It might have already transfered the purchases♥

Why can't the iPhone 4 update from iOS 7?

Your smart phone, which is what an iPhone 4 is, is also and primarily a computer. As such, it has all the elements and components of every computer built since we started plugging output screens into them. So, it runs what we call in IT an Operating System (OS for short). That OS is designed specifically to run on computers built with certain types of components, like RAM, long term storage such as a hard drive (or today, special chips which fulfill that function), and a CPU (or Central Processing Unit) which is what does the hard work.OSes are being redesigned and updated all the time, and eventually, an OS will get so upgraded with new processes and features that at some point, the computers they run on won’t run fast enough to process the commands that OS gives it. So, it slows down to the point of uselessness.Since companies which create OSes do test their systems on the computers they run on, they can tell long before that time when a particular model gets to the point that it’s just too darn slow to expect customers to tolerate it.Or, the newer computers may include technology which changes the way the new OS is designed, and the older models simply won’t run the new OS at all.So every computer manufacturer will tell you the version of the OS it will run, and when the new ones won’t work. Apple and Microsoft both have designed their OSes to even tell you if the computer you are trying to install it on is not compatible with that version OS.So, that’s why your iPhone 4 won’t run any iOS newer than 7.1.2. It isn’t built to handle the newer Operating Systems, and they even go so far as to not allow your iPhone to even SEE a newer version to upgrade to. It will just tell you your iPhone software is up to date, even if you know there are newer OSes available.Want a newer OS for the newer features they offer? Buy a newer iPhone.

Why can't I update iPhone 4s from 7.1.2 to 9.0 or higher?

Try forcing the update. Do the following:Download this file http://appldnld.apple.com/ios9.3...Make sure you have the latest version of iTunes.Plug your iPhone into your Mac/PCOpen iTunes and go to the iPhone page.Instead of pressing the “Check for Updates” button, if you are on a mac press option + Check for Updates, and if on a PC press shift + Check for Updates. When the window pops up, navigate and double click on the file you downloaded in step 1.Update should work.

Should i Buy iphone 5 or not????

Iphone 5 is still a very good device and if you make a purchase I'm sure you won't be let down, obviously there are better options but they all cost loads more money so if you can live with a older version of iPhone that is still very good ? Then go for it .

Should I buy an iPhone 6 at the beginning of 2018? Will it be worth it?

It depends upon your need and usage. If you just want to purchase iPhone 6 to be used as a Secondary Phone for say answering a few calls and browsing and watching videos along with occasional Facebook and Whats App usage then go for it without any second thoughts. If however you want to buy an iPhone as your Primary Device then I would strongly advice you to steer clear from iPhone 5s or iPhone 6. Go for iPhone SE, 6s or above. The reason being thatiPhone 6 in 2018 will already be 3.5 years old and there are high chances that it might be taken off market by Apple. Also the latest iOS 11 update will not perform as expected on iPhone 6.Moreover further iOS Updates focus more on 3D Touch actions which is a crucial feature missing in iPhone 6.Also, iPhone 6 has less RAM and a weaker camera as compared to 6s and others. Most importantly the battery size is small and hence it provides lesser backup if used for heavy and intensive usage for the whole day like playing games and continuously watching videos. You would probably like to invest in a higher storage variant preferably the 64GB or 128GB, something which iPhone 6 does not offer and neither will in future. Therefore I would advice you to evaluate your usage and needs and then make an informed decision as to purchase an iPhone 6 or not.Hope it Helps :)

Should I buy an unlocked iPhone 4 from Best Buy?

Ask yourself following questions to make sure you're not making a mistake:Are you sure you want to buy an iPhone 4?Like Soham said, iPhone 4 is kind of obsolete. It will not support many services and over the time will lose support to majority of applications. And if you decide to keep updating its OS, it will be slower and slower.Does Best Buy have iPhone 4?I did some searching on bestbuy.com and it seems like they don't have iPhone 4 anymore. It may be available in your local stores.Do you really want to buy it from Best Buy?I personally rarely buy things from Best Buy, because things there tend to be much more expensive. You may want to compare prices before you buy. eBay tends to offer best deals on old products whether you want a new one or can settle for an used one.If you answered Yes to all of the questions above, go ahead and buy it.

I haven't updated my iPhone 4 since 4.2.1. Is it worth updating, and how do I do it without losing everything?

I haven't updated my iPhone since around Christmas 2010, because my computer broke. I now have a new computer, and I would like to update to iOS5. But is it worth the update? I'm also hesitant because I'd like to keep all of the things on my phone. Can somebody tell me how to do this without losing everything? Or if it's even much of a difference between the version I have now and the latest update?

IPhone 5s or IPhone 6?

While pretty much 90% of the people will tell you to get the iPhone 6 just because it's new, but iPhone 5s is equally as solid, despite they likely will stop the iOS updates sooner than the iPhone 6. But if you're worried about that, then don't worry, they'll likely continue to update it to iOS 10 and beyond.

Because of the dual core processor the 5s has, it's still a pretty powerful phone, despite the fact that it's from 2013. For someone who tested the iPhone 5s and iPhone 6, it's very hard to find much difference in terms of power from the naked eye.

As for the camera, it's still difficult find a good enough reason to get the iPhone 6. That and to my understanding, the iPhone 6 still has a 1.2 MP front camera, just like the iPhone 5s. Considering that the iPhone 6 is suppose to be newer, why haven't they updated that camera a bit?

Bottom line, unless if there's a specific reason to get 6, I'd go for the 5s, as it is ~*~almost~*~ just as powerful as 6 but for a bit less.
