If I Change To A Brand New Phone From An Infected One With Same Number Will It Still Be Infected

Someone has hacked my phone. Even if I change my number, will they still be able to get into my new phone?

“Hacking” your phone usually means access through the software itself. Changing your number does not affect that, you will have to reset the software on the phone

Can I change the earrings in an infected ear?

I doubt that you have an infection. Most likely this is an allergic reaction to the metal.

That is why piercing guns and the crappy that come with them should never be used for piercings.

You know when a piercing is infected if yellow or green fluids or pus is coming out. White and clear discharge is normal and part of the healing process.

BUT, not proper jewelry material can cause all the above symptoms ( yellowish discharge, pain, swelling, itchy feeling ) which are commonly mistaken to an infection.

Proper jewelry material : Titanium, stainless steel, 18K and above gold.

Anything else should never be on an open wound aka a new piercing.

Sterling silver contains nickel which causes allergic reactions and most importantly silver gets dark after a while, which caused permanent discoloration of the skin ( dark spot on the piercing). The only way to remove those dark spots from silver jewelry is surgically ( scrubbing )
Should be avoided at all costs.

Go to a professional piercing studio and get the proper jewelry. Titanium is the best, causes no mess at all and body loves it.

Keep cleaning the piercings with sea salt soaks twice a day and keep doing it for the whole healing period.
Total healing time for ear lobe piercings is 3 months.

Until the piercing is fully healed you don't : Touch the piercing, twist the jewelry, change the jewelry or take it out, play with it, but only touch it with freshly washed hands to clean it.

If an iPhone is infected with a virus/malware, will a simple reset remove it?

A2ASimply? Yes.Further read is for general awareness. If you are worried about potential malware or threat on the phone, a reset will do the job. It restores factory settings, which pretty much wipes everything out. You will feel a lot safer and refreshed device will work better.Contrary to popular believe, iOS is a vulnerable platform. Low chance and low count of malware, but it exists. Anthony May (undefined) summarized it well.Usually, malware outputs some sort of a signal that it exists. Whether it would be increased phone temperature, crashing applications, more than usual running processes, it is possible to notice it, just have to be aware.Other than that, after a reset, if you are still concerned, change your relevant passwords to new ones and you are good to go.

If you dont change your bra everyday can you get like infections or anything??

No.

Why do you need a clean bra every day unless you sweat profusely?

Clean undies yes, but you can wear the same bra for almost a week.

You won't get any infection or anything. Don't know who you are talking to about that one but they are mistaken.

Can a healed nose piercing get infected?

Well...I need to explain about healing first.

When piercings heal, they heal from the outside edges of the wound, moving toward the center and build scar tissue all the way through the hole. When a piercing is completely healed, it is a tube of scar tissue....or a "Flesh Tunnel". There are no more open tissues. It is no longer an open wound. Healed wounds don't get infected. UNLESS.........

You do something to traumatize the tissue or cause little micro tears, such as stretching or in this case twisting the jewelry through the hole.

HOWEVER...IF it's infected, it would have other signs besides just redness and soreness. Signs of infection: Pain, Redness, Swelling, Warmth to the Touch, Puss that is dark yellow or green, you can also run a Fever if you have an infection.

I think what you've done is simply traumatized the area. DO NOT WASH WITH SOAP in the shower. Soap will just irritate the tissues. The only thing inside the hole besides jewelry...are healthy healing tissues...you don't need to add a foreign liquid to them, it simply irritates it more.

When you shower simply rinse the area with plain water to make sure that no soap or shampoo or conditioner got in to the wound.

Doing some sea salt soaks for a week should allow the tissues to stimulate and feel better. Here are the soaks:

Mix 2 level tablespoons of plain sea salt to a full and level 8 oz cup of water. Heat in microwave until you see it start coming to a boil. Remove and let stand at room temperature until cool. WASH YOUR HANDS and hold a cotton ball soaked with the sea salt solution to the area for only 2 -3 minutes, 2-3 times per day for 7 days.

You should notice a great improvement.

If you feel at any time that the piercing may actually be infected, you'll need to visit your doctor for antibiotics.

Hope that helps. Good Luck.

Is my yahoo email account infected?

This problem is a common one on Answers, several times each day for months. Either your mail was infected by malware or spoofed by spammers, or your address was found in someone else's infected computer. The results are the same: that address will need to be changed.
- First, check your sent box to be sure these were not being sent from your account as a 'zombie' spambot machine.
- Second, open your profile to be sure your password and secret questions & answers and alternate mails remain the same.
- Third, change all that information to more secure and unusual ones.
- Fourth, read the references below for the best explanations I've ever seen.
- Fifth, this could be a malware attack so do a scan in Safe Mode (Malwarebytes is best). Then delete all System Restore Points before re-booting into normal mode.
- Sixth, set up a new account and new alternate accounts. Do not close the old ones until all information is transferred. Import the Contacts list, and forward important saved mails too.
https://edit.yahoo.com/registration?.int… (new address)
http://edit.yahoo..com/config/list_alias… (alternate address)
- Last, contact everyone with your new address, including your name and 'new address' in the Subject line, as well as an apology to them. Urge ALL of them to use BCC: and delete all addresses when forwarding mail too! Warn them not to click ANY links or even open mail from the old address. (Some malware can infect computers just by opening the mail.)

Changing your password is NOT sufficient, even though that is Yahoo's advice! Use a very strong password (letters, capitals, punctuation, numbers, symbols - the longer the better.) Start with a sentence, and make substitutions. Be sure the result is one you can remember. Change your 'Secret' Questions and Answers too - ones that nobody could guess - Yahoo even allows you to invent your own questions. Change and add all-new alternate e-mail addresses too.

Can an infection still be treated by taking an antibiotic once a day instead of twice?

Dermatologist often prescribe 30 100 milligram pills of doxycycline to patients to treat acne. They are directed to take one pill a day for a month. Chlamydia is also treated with the same exact antibiotic, same milligram and all. But, the patient is generally directed to take it two times a day for a week. Is it possible, that after taking one pill a day for a month, that chlamydia can be cured even though doxyciline was taken once a day instead of twice?

Is it possible to get malware from a infected computer on the same wifi?

Yes. (But don't worry about it happening unless you're in charge of security at a company that operate a wireless network with direct access to business infrastructure or many other wireless clients.)Let's take a look at a couple scenarios where you can get infected. In all my scenarios, wireless client isolation is not enabled. (When it's enabled, wireless clients can't talk directly to each other. Not all routers support this feature.)Scenario 1:There are two computers on the wireless network. Computer A is clean, but severely outdated. Computer B was in the same state, until that computer visited a website that utilised a drive-by exploit kit. Computer B is now infected with a worm that attempts to infect any other computer on the wireless network, including Computer A. This happens automatically and the users of Computer A and Computer B are likely not noticing that they got compromised.Scenario 2:Instead of a worm, Computer B is compromised with a trojan that the attacker can access. The attacker creates a tunnel and pivots into your wireless network / WLAN over the Internet (via Computer B), and then identifies outdated and insecure Computer A on the network, which the attacker uses an exploit against.Scenario 3: Both computers are clean and up to date. Computer B is tricked into installing a Java applet or Executable file. Computer A is compromised through e.g. password reuse (cached passwords, or PTH attacks), or in a scenario as seen below.Scenario 4:Both computers are clean and up to date. The attacker is not on the Internet, but nearby the wireless network. After finally cracking the weak wireless password, the attacker (Computer C) associates with (i.e. logs on to) the wireless network. The attacker performs an ARP spoofing attack and redirects Computer A and B to maybe drive-by exploit kits, or modified versions of e.g. Facebook that prompts them to download an executable file which contains a trojan. Computer A and Computer B are now infected.I think that I'll hold off any other possible scenarios for now.
