If I Drink 2 Beers Back To Back Fast How Many Hours As A Estimate Will It Take To Leave My Blood

Blood Glucose fasting test: I fasted for 18 hours. Will my results still be accurate?

My Doctor ordered a blood glucose fasting test for me a couple of days ago. 3 months ago, I was diagnosed with Pre-diabetes, or "Insulin Resistant". I can't remember how long I fasted for last time. At least 12 hours. This time, I ate my last meal and had my last coffee at 7:00pm. I was just so tired and exhausted. I had my blood taken at 1:00pm today. That means I have fasted for 18 hours. It was not on purpose and I drank alot of water. In addition to the Fasting Glucose test, I also had blood taken for full blood count, liver, kidney, iron studies, and cholesterol. My question is:
Will all of my blood test results still be accurate, having fasted for 18 hours?
They say not to fast any more than 12 hours. I'd like to know what you think.

Heavy drinking for an average of 2 years, liver damage?

Can you literally damage your liver or develop cirrhosis or any of the liver diseases, if one were to drink heavily (just beer and red wine and not together ever) for an average of 2 years and continue to drinking in moderation afterwords? I am a 5'1 female, weight around 107 pounds.

I didn't drink at all until I turned 23 (I just turned 26 right now). The first year of drinking, I would binge maybe a few times within every few months (never to the point that I blacked out or was vomiting) by having at most, 5-6 beers or, leaving about a quarter left in an average bottle of red wine. I never touch hard liquor or even mixed drinks.

Second year is where I really began abusing it. I would have maybe on average, 3-4 beers a day or every few days (but this didn't begin until about midway of my second year of drinking). I never do finish an entire bottle of red wine still, but still would usually leave at least a good quarter left in the bottle.

I also always finish an entire water bottle after at least, every two beers and another water bottle before bed. I don't eat processed or fast foods, I am a vegan and my diet consists 90% raw vegetables, raw fruits, seeds/nuts, and 10% cooked vegan meals.

Now that I just turned 26 and it's a new year, I have decided to cut down tremendously, not only because of the fear of liver damage, but I just don't find it in me to drink that heavily anymore mentally. I am also wondering though, what is an actual moderation limit/defining? I am kind of planning to to just have a couple of beers for special occasions or if anything, during a weekend to watch my shows or a film because I do enjoy beer and red wine to sip on. I know these things vary per individual, but I am just wondering the likelihood based on my history and habits.

I need to pass a drug test for a Hospital nursing position, any suggestions on flushing naturally?

The speed at which marijuana leaves your body depends both on the speed of your metabolism, as well as on the half life of THC. It’s estimated that THC can have a half life that ranges anywhere from 1-10 days. It’s almost impossible to find out what that half life is, which means that it is very difficult to use it to calculate how long it will take for all of the THC to leave your body.
If you smoke daily it can take up to 90 days to leave your system. It also depends on a persons, health, weight and daily fluid intake. A lean person less time, a heavy person longer. It can be detected in hair up to 3 years. If you have only eight days you are probably out of luck. Drug tests are often sent off, even when they are done on site, to be checked for electrolytes. So if the urine is too dilute from drinking large amounts of "flushing agents" it's deemed positve.
Natural detoxification might be more rapid by drinking water as opposed to flavored drinks and coffee. Eating low fat foods such as fruits. Avoid red meats and high fat carbs. Still, that likely wouldn't be fast enough

If I have 3 tequila shots in an hour and drive my car, will i get a DUI?

It could, but it would depend on:

1. your height
2. your weight
3. your tolerance
4. if you have an empty stomache before drinking
5. if you get pulled over
6. if you wisely pass on the breathalyzer but fail the field sobriety test

Oh, and the water won't do much. Think about it; you have a finite amount of blood and you're adding a specific amount of liquor to that. Whether you also mix water doesn't change how much alcohol is present. It just means you won't be as thirsty sitting in the cell.

If you're intent on drinking, do some or all of the following:

1. Eat a big meal first
2. pace yourself and stagger the drinks out as far as possible.
3. don't mix other alcohols with the tequila
4. take a cab or ride with someone else.

If NOT driving is absolutely NOT an option, then drive at or slightly below the speed limit. Driving way too slow or way too fast is a giveaway. Also take back roads and side streets. Do come to a complete stop at stop signs, and don't try and run yellow lights; remember - your judgement is impaired. Keep the music at a reasonable volume, make sure you signal every turn, have your seatbelt on and make sure nothing mechanically about your car might get you pulled over routinely.

How to lower high blood pressure without medication?

High blood pressure has a number of different causes.

Sometimes, medicine is the best thing for him.

But it would really help if he would go out for a walk every day, if he would quit smoking, and if he would eat good things. (Eating good things means don't eat sausage or bacon or french fries or cheese nachos or doritos...)

Tell him to stop drinking beer.

How long does it take for an average person to sober up completely after being drunk?

There were a few universities that have tried to do this study. An average liver can process approximately 1 unit of alcohol per hour. This means that if you drink 12 units, it'll take you roughly 12 hours to fully sober up.In other words, the 73 answers that are collapsed, are correct. It mostly depends on how your body reacts and digests Alcohol. The average liver can clean out almost 55 mL of alcohol…. PER HOUR. So if you have 100% alcohol ingested, then the calculations you can do, if you are not too sober/drunk.If you consume 110 mL of Alcohol, then you are likely to be drunk for 2 hours, until the alcohol starts to wear off.Use this nifty calculator to calculate how long it will take you to sober up.When Will I Be Sober? Thanks,Yagna Patel
