If I Drink Nuclear Waste Will I Get Super Powers

Can nuclear waste give you super powers?

Can nuclear waste/exposure to high doses of radioactivity give you super powers?

I know this is a silly question but hear me out
almost always when you get exposed to nuclear waste/radiation you will get cancer or develop a serious illness, this is because radiation can alter your original DNA bases, which usually results in a deleterious mutations and hence disease

However, what if you are exposed to nuclear waste/radiation in such a way that the DNA bases that are altered actually turn out to be beneficial mutations, providing you with a superior ability? The chance of that happening is EXTREMELY small, but is this not theoretically true? If you were to be exposed and your genome was altered at the right location and the right DNA base change/mutation, may it result in 'super powers' ?

Can toxic waste give you super powers?

I keep seeing on TV that exposure to toxic waste would enhance your health or mutate you in some way. I know TV can be fiction but, it this really true? If not, then where'd they even get the idea that it'd give you super powers?

PS: No hater answers, please.

My poop smells like nuclear waste?

My poop started to have extra bad smell to it, allmost like burnt tinfoil. Actually it kinda smells like a rotting cavity with a cracked filling. It smells like straight Alien poop................ What could I add to my diet to make my farts/poop smell better?

How can you get super powers?

Be from Krypton.
Get bitten by a radioactive spider.
Find a green alien with a power ring.
Get zapped by a bunch of Gamma Rays.
Be a son of Oden.
Find some pixie dust.
Come back from Hell, if you can.
Say "Shazam."

On average, how many people do nuclear power plants kill a year?

According to all the reliable sources, on average, about 0.35 deaths per year for a 1000 MW nuclear plant. So that would work out to about a death every 3 years. This includes the mining and transportation of the uranium, the future storage of the waste, Chernobyl, Fukushima, etc.For comparison, a similar coal plant kills that many people every 18 hours. An oil plant is about half of that. That’s per plant. When you add up all the power plants, like the question asks, it comes up to 60 for all the nuclear plants, 390,000 for the coal plants, and 324,000 for all the oil plants per year.Deaths per TWH by energy source | NextBigFuture.comEnergy accidents - Wikipedia

I want super powers! How do I get them!?

Sorry kid. Without a fortune to buy you nifty gadgets, and no training, you'll most likely do no better than "Kick-A$$." If you're lucky.

With a fortune, maybe you could pull a Batman, if you were also willing to train yourself to Olympic standards, and take a lot of courses in Forensics.

But powers? Only in your dreams, bub.

What would happen to your body if you bathed in nuclear waste for ten minutes?

Unfortunately, this question can't be answered without more information, and essentially can't be answered. The way the question is phrased, I fear that you picture nuclear waste as the green ooze from various movies & tv shows, perhaps the most iconic of which is the Simpsons. This is very different from reality. A good place to start learning about nuclear waste may be Wikipedia. (Radioactive waste) Nuclear waste ranges from low level waste that's largely consumables (paper, rags, etc) to high level waste (spent fuel, which is mostly metal & ceramic). There are some types of liquid or liquidized nuclear waste, which would be the only type you could "bathe" in, but even it will vary a lot in what it actually is, which means bathing in it might have no measurable effect on you (like bathing in water), or could have a chemistry that would leave you with chemical burns, and/or it could have a level of radiation output that would make you sick or kill you.Overall, there's far too many possibilities to answer your question, sorry.
