If I Eat A Lot Of Sweets I Get All Itchyy

Why do I get a throat itch after eating sweet stuff?

I get a tickle in my throat, too….only with super sweet things. So does my son and ex-husband. I don’t know why it happens, (it’s not an allergy) but I learned some things are “too sweet” and usually pass on eating it to avoid the tickle. FTR - have either milk or water handy - It will go away if you drink water or milk…something not sweet. (I find milk works better) It’s like it neutralizes the tickle.

Why do we start coughing after eating lot of sweets?

Sweets don't directly cause coughing. But there is a possible indirect reason. I'll make some assumptions about the sweets being dry sweets and the weather being warm or the heater is turned on in cold weather. Most sweets are sweetened with sugar. Only some are sweetened with jaggery, or honey, or with fruit juices. When you cook sugar, it can reach a point where it loses all moisture. In this state it is hydrophilic. Meaning, having a tendency to be wetted or is easily dissolved. Most dry sweet preparation does involve a lot of heating, this removing most of the moisture.Meaning, sweets tend to absorb moisture from surroundings.Every bite or serving of sweet starts absorbing moisture in its way down your throat and continues to use up more moisture during digestion. So, if you have a lot of sweets it will dry your mouth and throat even more. Salivary glands might not be able to supply sufficient moisture to your throat. Thus your throat might be irritated.Add hot or dry weather to this situation (or low humidity in heated indoors), and you have a body that is already deprived of moisture. So, where from will the moisture readily come to your throat's need? This is the most likely cause for your cough.Let me know how close to true I am.Cheers

Why does my throat itch after eatting sweets?

Artificial colours and sweeteners. Loads of people are allergic and will get an itchy throat, maybe swollen lips etc. Personally, I get an itchy throat if I drink cheap squash. Any allergic reactions around the mouth/throat area should be taken seriously cos if the reaction gets out of control you might not be able to breathe...so you should avoid the ones that make you itch. Read the ingredients. Easy way to avoid artificial colours and sweeteners is to avoid E numbers. Although as you said candy and gatorade I'm guessing you're American and so I'm not really sure if they label things the same there...

Why do my inner ears become itchy after eating sweet food?

It appears possible that your blood sugar might be high. Hard to say without you getting a reading on it. Especially if you are overweight, over 40, and female. The itching in the inner ear canals has been a signal for me to know my blood glucose is high recently. I have been diabetic for 25 years. I know this may not be your problem, but it would not be a bad idea to get it checked. I cannot tell you how many people out there have little or no idea they are diabetic. It is an innocuous disease that even those who know they are affected, deny it in so many ways.Diabetics are about 10% of the world's population, yet the average diabetic lives 6 years less than the average non-diabetic. Only with good diabetic management is full survival possible. Get yourself checked. Preferably when your ears are itching. I hope I am wrong.

Why do I itch all over my body and my throat when I eat eggs?

Food allergy is a common disease that is rapidly increasing in prevalence for reasons that remain unknown. We do know that food allergies are on the rise in just the past 10–15 years.Allergies are caused when a person’s immune system mistakenly attacks a harmless substance, such as a protein in food. The immune system creates antibodies to attack the offending food. The next time the food is eaten, the body releases chemicals such as histamines to protect the body.Influenza is a highly contagious viral respiratory illness which is best prevented through vaccination. Currently, all US licensed influenza vaccines are produced in embryonated chicken eggs.So I wonder if there is a connection? Do you get Flu Shots, and did this start happening around the same time?It stands to reason that since a vaccine introduces foreign antibodies into your immune system, and they are from Eggs, then the vaccine may cause your immune system mistakenly attacks this harmless substance, egg protein. That’s my best guess, and a Theory anyway.

Our sweet Dog is scratching and itching all night long..?

I prefer to use natural flea repellents for my dogs and cats. They are very effective in repelling fleas and ticks and other insects + they are safe to your pet, your family and the environment. One really good remedy in repelling fleas and getting rid of parasites is Diatomaceous Earth. You can sprinkle it on the coat of your pets for flea control or sprinkle on food for parasite control. Diatomaceous earth is a geological deposit made up of the fossilized skeletons and tests of siliceous marine and fresh water organisms, particularly diatoms and other algae. These skeletons are made of hydrated amorphous silica or opal. When crushed, they break up into tiny pieces of glass'' (so tiny that the material feels like talcum powder). This is easily picked up by the hairy bodies of most Insects. Whereupon it scratches through their protective wax layers; and they also absorb some of this material. the result being that the insects lose water rapidly, dry up and die. Further protection is provided by the powder's property of repelling many insects. A similar principle probably accounts for the fact that birds frequently take dust baths, presumably to rid themselves of parasites. Some other natural flea repellents use essential oils for repelling and killing fleas. To protect themselves, certain plants have developed highly effective defense mechanisms against potentially harmful insects. The essential oils of these plants were combined in a solution to form a natural pest control barrier for pets. I have dogs and cats and since I use these natural pest controls there are no fleas anymore and they not getting bothered from ticks, mosquitoes or such.
