Forgot to put my house number on an order?!?
Hello everyone i recently ordered something from ebay and i wrote my whole address except my house number . I wrote the street and the zip code but i forgot to put my house number where will my stuff send to and will i receive them, one of the items was already shipped.if you can help me i would really appreciate it Thank You.

Click on the username of the person you have bought the item from on eBay and on the page it will say 'Contact this seller'. Send the seller a message saying that your address details are wrong and give them the correct ones, so long as they haven't yet sent the item, they will manually add the house number for you. If they have already sent it then don't worry, it will just be returned to the seller and they will have to send it out to you again, you may have to pay for delivery again but it is unlikely that someone else will get your package.
I forgot to put a unit number on my shipping address. What do I do?
I wouldn't worry about it. We deliver mail all the time that doesn't have unit numbers. Some doesn't even have correct addresses at all. You will probably get it if your mail carrier knows his/her route well enough to deliver by name. If it makes you feel better, just call up your local post office and let them know to expect a package without a unit number, that way they will keep their eyes peeled. There isn't anything we can technically do about it if there is a substitute carrier that day, but if you let them know they will try their hardest not to allow the sub to send it back as insufficient address.

agree with boston on this one... contact the shipper immediately or if you have the tracking number, it'll show you which delivery company is handling it & call the respective 800 number so they can forward that message to the local warehouse that will be handling the package ---------------------------------------... If there's no note on the door and no name matches on the mailboxes, the delivery person will enter the following on their portable pc/ scanner : "delivery exception; unable to locate address : apartment #" and will take this package to the Quality Assurance Dept to call the shipper or lookup the name to see if there's an apartment number on the online directories if you also supplied a phone # to the shipper, they'll likely print it on the address label so the delivery person may call it and find out right away ---------------------------------------... if the leasing office takes packages, they will look through their directory to confirm or deny signing for packages if your name is not in their list

The only shot you have is to keep calling and talking to different people, I was banned 7 years ago and just kept calling and finally got a girl that connected me while I was on the phone. Your only other option is start over with a new bank account and id. Address to. There hard to get around.

One possibility is that the postal carrier simply left the package near the bank of mailboxes for the apartment complex, and the package was taken by someone other than the person to whom it was addressed. The postal carrier didn't have time to stand in front of the mail boxes and check each name, looking for the apartment number of the person listed on the package. It is also possible that the package would have been simply left by the mail boxes, whether the actual apartment number had been on it or not. Older apartment buildings don't have accommodation for the delivery of packages at the "mail box bank" because, in earlier, more civilized times, the postal carrier actually delivered the package to the apartment door. Carriers no longer have time to march through apartment buildings taking packages to individual apartments. Because the postal service has scanned the package as "delivered," they assume no further responsibility for it, but, on the other hand, it is most likely that your customer is being truthful in insisting that the package did not arrive. If the item can be replaced, it might be worth sending out another one in order to maintain "customer good will." If not, you might consider a partial refund so that both you and the customer share responsibility for the loss, and posting a note telling future customers that you cannot ship to apartment numbers. (People who live in apartments would have to obtain a "mail drop" where someone is always available to take the package in and keep it secure until it is picked up.) You could also consider shipping to apartments only via UPS, whose carriers take the packages to individual doors and get signatures of recipients when the package is delivered. This would mean apartment dwellers would have to pay more for shipping, but it would save you the headaches of dealing with situations like this one.
Can you give ebay a fake phone number?
You can put down a fake phone number. If you are a seller and one day someone tries to contact you and it doesn't work then they can report you. Ebay will then ask you to put in a real number or they may limit your selling ability. You can put whatever address in ebay and choose it when you check out. I use my friends account and have my items sent to his address but obviously under his name. I just pay with my paypal account.
