Had a seizure at work.Who pays ambulance, hospital bill ?.?
I had a seizure during work hours last week. While in our locker room, I Went into a seizure. My coworkers called 911. I am thankful for their quick response. However, I was so "out of it" when the paramedics arrived, I accepted a ride with them to the hospital. Am I liable for the medical bills? I live in Indiana. I was told by a co-worker, that its a state law to have the company's insurance take are of the bill because it happened while at work.
Do you pay your hospital bills?
Call the hospital financial department and ask to be sent a financial aid application. When it arrives to you, fill out all the information. It will ask what property you own, how much each of you make in a month, what your expenses are, etc. Send the application in and it generally takes up to 30 days to find out if this bill will be written off, reduced, or if you don’t qualify for help at all / have to pay the full amount. I had a $800 (after insurance) clinic visit from getting a patch of skin (that was thought to be melanoma. Thankfully it wasn’t) removed. I’m in college full time and wasn’t working. So I applied and got the bill 100% written off. I’m very blessed and grateful that the hospital took care of that expense for me. Perhaps you will have good fortune as well.
My cat is having seizures?
today she had one, bout 6 months ago she had one, and i think about twice before that she had some spread out. poor kitty. first of all i was in my room and she was in the living room. suddenly i hear 2 screams from her. then i run to her where she was sleeping and she is digging her paws in the couch with her eyes closed and shaking. this happens for a minute. then she opens up her eyes just staring down at the couch for about a minute. i try to get her attention, she doesnt answer. then, she looks up and her pupils are huge!! she looked SO confused. she is also breathing VERY hard. poor thing. then for the next 10 mintues she is running around meowing constantly like she is lost. so i was like, dad take her to the freakin vet. he's like its not too serious plus she doesnt have insurance. im like what the h? i really need to talk about this please comment or IM me on aim pinkxxpokadot
