Can castor oil be applied to hair daily?

Castor oil is becoming a popular remedy for hair loss and a helpful ingredient for hair regrowth. On an average, your hair grows by about half an inch every month. With the regular use of castor oil, hair growth can be boosted by three to five times the usual rate. It not only spurs hair growth, but the hair also becomes noticeably thicker within a few months of use. Castor oil also can make your eyelashes and eyebrows longer and thicker.Use of Castor Oil :The Scientific Reason :Castor oil’s antiviral, antibacterial, and antifungal properties make it an effective treatment for scalp infections. Its high protein content makes it very valuable to maintain hair health. It also helps battle infections such as folliculitis, a condition that causes inflammation of the hair follicles. The unusually high content of ricinoleic acid in castor oil improves blood circulation at the scalp, ensuring better nutrition for the hair follicles.(for more click here)

How does an 11 year old active boy get muscles, or stronger?

honestly, i know it's really lame, but tell someone (like an older friend or family member) who can stand up for you.

However, if you do want to get stronger (to defend yourself only, not to be able to beat him up) there is a lot you could do.

at 11 i wouldn't recommend weightlifting, however, muscle building and toning is still possible. Things like push ups (15-20 2-3 times a day) will really start to build your arms. Pull ups and chin ups will work you arms and back (5-10 twice a day). And honestly the most helpful thing you can do is to swim. do a few laps a day and add more and more. Swimming works every single muscle you need to build: back, arms, shoulders, abs, calves, thighs, quads, butt, PECS!!! if swimming isn't possible then running is a good alternative. the most important thing is repetition and adding more and more reps.

also as far as defending yourself, fighting is about 70% skill and only 30% size.

the most true quote in the world, "its not the size of the dog in the fights, it's the size of the fight in the dog"

things like hitting the boxing bag a lot or taking up martial arts will help a whole lot more than building muscle

How would you change the following into passive voice, "Please have a cup of tea with me."?

Oh man…Why on Earth would you want to do that? You realize that—no matter what you do—this is going to be the most awkwardly cringe-inducing sentence ever, right?Ok, you asked.Passive voice in English is about subjects, verbs, and objects. In order to convert an active sentence into a passive one, you must have a subject, an action verb, and a direct object:The boy[s] kicked[av] the ball[do].becomesThe ball was kicked by the boy.Let’s simplify your sentence first. Please have a cup of tea with me.The subject is “you” (it’s implied). The verb is “have,” and the direct object is “cup of tea.”At its most basic, you’re saying:You have a cup of tea. Then, let’s passive-ify it to:A cup of tea is had by you. That’s not terrible, but it’s going to get much, much worse. We have to add the prepositional phrase “with me,” so it becomes:A cup of tea with me is had by you.Ugh…And technically, the tense is ambiguous because we should assume that you’re implying this will happen in the future, so…A cup of tea with me will be had by you.And don’t forget the magic word:A cup of tea with me will be had by you, please. That’s gross. Please don’t make me do that again. It sounds like you translated it into Klingon…and back…half a dozen times.Grammar is messy, kids.::Edit::Just to clarify for some people who may not be aware:“Passive” does not mean “wordy” or “convoluted” when we talk about “passive voice” in English, though passive sentences can be wordy and convoluted. There is a very specific definition for what makes a passive sentence. In passive voice, the subject of the sentence is being acted on by the object, rather than the subject acting on the object. Some comments imply that making the statement more confusing, making it more formal, or adding complex vocabulary makes a sentence passive. Passive-aggressive, maybe…but not passive voice. Also, as a few people have pointed out, you can’t technically convert an imperative sentence into passive voice and retain the implicit meaning, but there’s absolutely no fun in giving that as an answer. I think my answer sufficiently explains why it can’t and shouldn’t be done. (:

Why is it bad to eat before going to sleep? Is it even bad at all?

I’m going to give just a bit of my own experience. It doesn’t make any sense going to bed famished. Eating a little bit of fats and/or protein before going to bed will help me fall asleep. But eating more than 100 calories worth of carbs, for me, results in hyper-activating my brain in an hour or two. I might fall right asleep, but in a couple hours I’ll wake up sweating, realizing I was just trying to sort out one of the biggest mental challenges of my recent life activities (work, relationships, etc) right there in my intended sleep. When I eat a heavy meal less than an hour before bedtime, it comes back up my esophagus and I end up coughing for the next two hours. Soda or other carbonated beverages are worse and will cause a lot of belching. When in a lateral sleeping position, this means whatever’s in the stomach, acid included, will come “up” along with the air, while I’m sleeping, ending up in my lungs. Coughing all night is NOT fun.So, generally, if I’m hungry at the time I go to bed or if I want a little assistance falling asleep, I’ll eat a little bit of fat or protein, like a cheese stick or a bit of jerky, along with a small cup of lukewarm water, wine or milk. Maybe 10–15 grams worth of cheese or meat. It’s bulk for the belly, doesn’t incite a lot of stomach acid, and once it reaches the small intestine my energy levels drop, which helps me sleep. But if I just ate a full meal or just drank a lot of belchy soda, I will force myself to stay awake for at least a couple hours before going to bed, because if I sleep for a couple hours and then wake up completely, it will be another four or five hours before I’ll be able to fall back asleep. The energy in the food now coupled with my 1–2 hour nap makes me incapable of settling down.
